Bobalicious — Attraction in San Diego

The girl that took my order was nice. Once I received my order, I realized 3 out of 5 drinks had no boba. I brought the drinks up to the counter to let them know. It was an Asian girl at the counter with heavy makeup on. Told her 3 drinks had no boba and but I wasn’t charged. She said, well u have to ask for it if you want it. I said I did, but the girl probably didn’t hear me but no worries. She took the drinks to add boba in. Charged me $2.25. Once I saw the drinks were ready I went to the front. I grabbed the drinks and said thank you. She said nothing at all. I said thank you again and she just did a smirk. She was rude and although I’ll never go back again, which I’m sure no lost to the business, I just wanted to share my experience. She definitely gives this business a bad name. Soo amazing! Seriously the best tasting Brown sugar milk tea with boba that I have ever had! I have tried alot of the shops, especially in and around Mira Mesa and this is my absolute favorite! It did however kinda ruin any another place for me now lol This is the absolute best! I love getting it with their baby bobas! They marinate the bobas in brown sugar and honey so they are really yummy! Plus the brown sugar tea comes with cream cheese foam, and at first I thought that sounded gross but then I tried it and HOLY COW! SOOOO FREAKING GOOD!! Its a must try if you are...

They changed their name from Bobalicious, to Square Bar, then back to Bobalicious. Throughout it all, their items have improved over the years. I went from disliking, to mostly enjoying the taste. Their teas are still a bit watery, and their boba could be brewed in more sugar to add flavor (but at least it’s soft now.) Their stock is also inconsistent. They’re usually out of multiple menu items at any given time, but I’ve learned to have a 2nd choice ready. Their snacks and ice cream are 10/10. Cleanliness 8/10. Solid 4 stars for effort...
