College-Rolando Branch Library — Attraction in San Diego

I used to really love this library, been coming here with my kids since they were toddlers, and we are coming up to the age where they are really coming into a good relationship with God, and I wanted to check out some books that I enjoyed growing into my faith. I am in the children's section looking around, I see the Jewish sections, a wall for LGBTQR, almost every other religion or path of life. I ask where the christian books are for children, and was brought to a very tiny section in which most of the books were NOT about Christianity I asked someone where they were, and the response I got was " We already know Christian history so we don't keep any books like that here". I was floored. It seems as if they exclude Christians from this library which isn't really inclusive of everyone. So thanks for making us feel excluded from enjoying our local library. 2019/08/10. Ample seating & space for a small branch library. Essentially the 1 big room/space design, with a couple of seminar/group rooms & computer room. Closer to medium size branch library, compared to several smaller branch libraries.

We love the library!! I have three kids and the library is just a wonderful place to go to when we need to get out of the house but also keep them somewhat entertained and contained. The kids space is our favorite. I love how it is removed from the main space of the library. I love all the wonderful reading programs they offer seasonally. They offer so many activities throughout the month from violin lessons, book club, Lego club to Yoga just so much! I am so grateful to have such a wonderful library so...
