This is the worst customer service I experienced ever in any hotel or motel. We arrived and there was no hello just a nod and a look of annoyance from the woman behind the counter, but I don’t think twice about it – it’s clear she doesn’t want to be there. I said we have a reservation and she leaves without saying one word to us and a minute later a man (her husband I presume) arrives. Again, no hello or anything, zero communication from him and we let him know we have a reservation. BTW, how difficult is it to say hello or how can I help you? Our room was upstairs and at first all looks decent. My husband showers, grabs a towel and YELPS. There is a huge brown spot on the towel he grabbed and the other side is purple makeup blotches. These stains were conveniently hidden in the folds, so guests can't see them at first. But once you grab them they’re impossible to miss. Before we go out for the night we ask for a new towel and the guy says nothing, he didn't say excuse me or sorry for the disgusting towel. He wasn't even a little embarrassed (like this is normal) - just annoyed we bothered him. He gave us a towel and we made the mistake of not checking the replacement towel nor inspecting ALL the towels and sheets in the room. We leave and go out. We come back late and under the lights notice that the replacement towel has black stains and we decide to check all the sheets as well. Disgusting! Every linen is dirty and stained! The towels are all with brown or black stains. The pillowcases stained with makeup, foundation and black mascara stains. We go back and ask for all new linens and the guy starts screaming "Everything, Everything, EVERYTHING!!" Ok so I interpret his screaming to mean perhaps: "all sheets and towels are like that - stained and dirty so don't bother me anymore"... He then proceeds to tell us to check out if we don't like it and walks away. We are tired and have already paid so we just stay and use our beach towels to dry ourselves in the bathroom and lay our heads on in the bed. Really, all he needed to do was just Acknowledge the inexcusable state of the linens. I probably would've just felt sorry for them and let it go. But, his ballistic attitude, poor manners and zero-concept of customer service deserves zero stars and we were cordial with him, so it's totally unacceptable. We said nothing to him in the morning for the return key deposit and of course he never apologizes - this guy is too arrogant to acknowledge he did anything wrong. Summary: If the customer service was better I would've given a higher rating, despite the linens, but I can't recommend staying here - and good luck with the...
Read moreWorst motel I've ever had the displeasure of staying at.
Cleanliness/Maintainence: The floor was slippery in some areas and sticky in others. The walls were dirty and there were stains around the doors. Some of the light fixtures didn't work, the TV didn't work. The trim around the sink was torn off and stashed underneath. The toilet was dirty around the base and it wobbled when you sat on it. The bed was uncomfortable and there weren't any blankets, just a thin sheet.
Neighborhood: It's not as ghetto as it comes but it isn't a nice neighborhood. There were couples arguing loudly outside several times during my stay and homeless people lingering in the parking lot. I was asked if I had any drugs to sell by homeless people in the parking lot.
Management: Every single night I was here my key card was deactivated, forcing me to the office late at night in an already sketchy neighborhood to get it fixed.
This next part is probably the worst part for me, management apparently mixed up room numbers and gave someone else a key to MY room. I was woken up early in the morning by someone trying to open my door. Thank God the deadbolt was closed otherwise they would've been able to get in.
Now, I'm a 25 year old guy so I wasn't too terrified for my personal safety, but if I was a woman traveling alone or if I had kids I would have booked a different hotel after the first night. This place was awful and I don't recommend...
Read moreI wish I could tell you about my stay. I made a reservation and had my confirmation number. I had called the day before and let them know I was showing up late. I asked what was latest time I could check in. I heard the man say 6:30 which I could not believe so I sent email asking if that was correct. I got no response. I called the day of my booking just to say I would be there at 9:30 and he said no problem. When I got there they did not have a room for me. A woman said I was not in system. I insisted they should give me a room and showed her my confirmation which was done on THEIR website. The woman was smirking when she told me I could not. Perhaps I had upset them with my email (which was polite). It went unanswered but the woman showed it to me letting me know this was all she had from me. A hooker was chuckling behind me at the window. I swear I am not making any of this up. If I can get anyone to reconsider staying there I would be doing a good service. Absolutely inexcusable. It was 9:15 at night and luckily I found a hostel...
