I recently visited Designer Eye Optometry along with my family and had an outstanding experience with Dr. Michael Wang. From the moment I walked in, the welcoming team made me feel completely at ease. This relatively small location popped up during my search for optometrists in my insurance network and close to work. Booking the appointment was painless and quick on the website and it's in a decent spot where there should be parking at least near opening hours. There's some eateries nearby as well if that tickles your fancy.

Dr. Wang was very kind and saw me very quickly in my appointment period. During my exam and visit he explained everything to me about what the numbers meant (like in eye pressure) as well as the retina imaging and what I was seeing in it, (optic nerve, etc) and I never felt super rushed during it which is important in my opinion when working with any medical professional.

The cost breakdown was basically as I expected, and additional expenses were on my request. Since this was my first visit, I opted for the retina imaging (there's a sign talking about it on the front desk). You can definitely opt out if you've gotten imaging recently.

I couldn't recommend this place enough. Their selection of frames is wonderful and the staff is an absolute delight.

They are not in my vision insurance network, but worked with me so I could purchase glasses from them, frames and lenses. I am beyond happy I found them, and I visited a number of places.

I was also impressed they had my frames PERFECTLY adjusted when I came to pick them up. Even though places, including this one, measure me beforehand, it still takes awhile to adjust when ready. Not the case here. First time ever I've had this.
