Harper's Topiary Garden is definitely a hidden gem in the San Diego downtown area that one could easily drive past if not paying any attention.
This topiary garden seems to be well-maintained and remained green and lush throughout our experience.
I like that it is located at the top of a hill, right next to old town and it also allows for views to the west that overlook the city and some of the airport.
The real fun is in the challenge of trying to identify what each garden sculpture is. Some of them are very simple and others of more intricate and cleverly disguised.
Although it doesn't take long to enjoy this experience, it still is rather fun to just stop and enjoy all the creative artwork of this garden.
On a sidenote, please be mindful that you should step back a little further from the garden in order to truly appreciate some of the sculptures and doing so, you will be in the road.
Just be mindful of the traffic that might pass by to be safe.

But as my friend and I got into the fun of picking out what each bush was shaped as, the guys started having fun pointing it out to us as well. There's also a Little Free Library next to the plants, and a friendly neighborhood stray that came to greet us. It was...
