They need to raise prices during peak times. Over crowded. And need to enforce mat hogging. There’s instructors who hog 3-4 mats during peak times. Sitting unused for 30min which is insane.
As of 10/13/25 Some mats are old but there’s a lot of newer mats now which feel great. Their ball condition is very good now. It’s been getting better and better. If you get 100 balls at least 75% of them are pretty good. At Stadium it’s about 5% lol. Most range balls are pretty bad around SD. The people in the shop are pretty nice and easy to talk to.
You can get clubs regripped and worked on too. They also sell their own wedges. They have a wide beverage selection including my favorite, White Monster. If they had a good putting green and better chipping area this range could be really special. I still love this...
Read moreGolf is an expensive sport but every time I come here I feel violated. The balls are always bad, you might get 25% good balls, 50% ok balls, and 25% bad balls. Also, it's over priced. You get 90 balls for $11. For the same price, Stadium Golf offers 30% more balls and they are all in good condition. Stadium Golf changes out to brand new balls EVERY 90 days! I live close but will drive the extra mileage to get what I pay for. The 2 stars is for convenience but I always curse myself for coming here in the rear view mirror after my session. You definitely don't get what you pay for at...
Read moreNot a fan. The range faces due west, which means that during the day you're hitting straight into the wind and in the evening you're hitting into the setting sun. Also, there's a crusty dude who works there who's been unnecessarily rude on multiple occasions. The matts are also not that great and the golf shop is fairly crappy. I'm also fairly sure that the yardages on the targets aren't that accurate. In general, this place is mediocre at best. I'd pick the Del Mar range nearly every time over this place, unless the fair is going on and that...
