Starbucks — Restaurant in San Diego

I ordered a white chocolate macadamia cream cold brew with less ice; I genuinely don't like that much ice bc I hate when it waters down the coffee. They were also out of the topping, so I gladly accepted a different one. Besides all customers after me receiving their drinks and food first, I also was handed a cold brew coffee with ice to the brim and NO CREAM. Like, okay, I understand you not having topping and maybe the drink is more complex than the other customers, but they literally handed me an unfinished drink, forgetting the cream and topping and my request for less ice. Then to fix the drink, the barista poured out both ice and coffee then topped it with the cream and topping instead of just starting over, which they should've done bc now I'm having to go into my night shift with less coffee and knowing this thing is gonna get all watered down and gross by the ice. Lackluster service for sure. I really look forward to my Starbucks excursions, but this one was one I hope never...

To Manager: Please consider training staff on severity of allergies; Could have given me an anaphylactic reaction. I wanted to treat myself to a drink ( haven’t had Starbucks in months) Ordered a drink not knowing it contained almond milk. When I received it I saw the label and explained to the young Asian girl that I’m highly allergic to nuts and cannot drink this. She was friendly and told me they would make me a new drink using regular milk instead. I got the new drink and drove off. Just when I was about to take a sip I saw the label on the cup and realized they used the same cup from the first drink (alm espresso label was still on there and was torn from where they removed the lid). So they just dumped the coffee with almond milk out and reused the contaminated cup for my new drink.

Basically if I had taken a sip from it I would have gotten into an anaphylactic shock in the middle of the highway, 1 in 3 chances I could have died and possibly caused a...

Great location and super nice staff. I arrived right as they were closing early on a Sunday due to being short staffed, but after the barista named Ketan learned that I just came from another nearby Starbucks which also closed early due to a training event, he went a bit out of his way to still make me a drink before closing. It was a super thoughtful gesture and he also explained that this was a good, more quiet location to do some work or study (except around lunch).
