Really wouldn't go here for ski stuff unless you're desperate like I was. Had skis mounted and they didn't bend the brakes enough (or at all from what it looks like) so now the skis are incredibly difficult to pull apart and put together. The brakes are also in contact with the edges when down and scrape against them which is not good. Now I have to go to a real ski shop to have that fixed and am not happy. I have had 5 other sets of skis mounted in my life and the brakes have always been bent properly. These were 99mm skis with 95mm brakes so this is well within normal adjustment range.
They just don't seem to have the experience to provide good service. I will never bring another pair of skis here for anything. You're probably better off at REI if you can't wait until you get to a mountain town
Edit: the business response is inaccurate. I had a shop in Utah bend the brakes for me free of charge and everything is as it should be now. They were really confused about why that wasn't done...
Read moreYour friendly neighborhood bicycle store. From the first visit I knew I’d found my people. Sam the proprietor is a good guy. His wife and mother may know different but for our purposes he’s heaven sent. Sam likes bikes and he likes people who like bikes. That’s a pretty good recipe for success. If this store was fictional it’d be in a place like South Park and it’d be owned by Sam. But lucky for us it’s flesh and bone and right here in our very own South Park and as far as I can tell Sam is not a robot or hologram or part of an elaborate deep state program that’s doing nefarious things we haven’t figured out yet. Actually I hope he’s a clone and the real Sam is out riding his bike. Oh and I bought a bike here and get my other bikes serviced...
Read moreMy gf recommended them, as they helped her with a used bike that she purchased on Offer Up. I went there after visiting another shop and spoke with Kevin. He happened to have time to help me immediately....threw my bike up on the rack, and looked it over so I could assess whether it needed a tune up and if it was worth to fix. He gave me very practical, but thorough answers, checked the air in the tires and lubed the chain for free, and quickly installed a new (inexpensive) component that I purchased, so I could ride it out of the shop right away. There was no pressure for additional goods/services and the prices were very reasonable for what I got. He was very friendly and I'll definitely return there based on my first...
