🌟 Overall Rating:
Food: 9/10 Affordability: 8/10 Ambiance: 7/10 🦞 Highlights: -Fried Pickles and Mozzarella Sticks: These were both 10/10. Words cannot express how perfectly seasoned and delicious these were. Some of the best I’ve ever had. And the cheese pull on the mozzarella sticks was AMAZING.
Clam Chowder: 🥄 A delightful start, though not as thick as expected, still packed with flavor and a solid choice (8/10). Clam Strip Plate: 🍤 Fresh and delicious, served with tartar sauce that complements perfectly (9/10). Bonus the onion rings were cooked to perfection 10/10! Lobster Roll: 🦞 Fresh, generous with lobster, offering great value for money (9/10). Haddock Fish Plate: 🐠 Simply delicious, fresh, and well-prepared (9/10). Chicken Parm and Italian Subs: 🥖 Reminiscent of classic Boston eateries, both dishes are hearty and satisfying (8/10). 👍 Verdict: Diving into Pete’s Seafood transports you straight to New England! Read moreI grew up in New England and regularly dined on clam strips and lawbstah (the proper way to pronounce it) rolls. Pete's Seafood is right on the money! We recently had takeout from here and oh.my.gosh, it is ahhhhhmazing!
I had the clam strips - no bellies here. They were done to absolute perfection and the fries they came with were abundant and so delicious! The clams were golden-brown and so crunchy. The coating is fabulous and flavorful.
We also ordered two lobster rolls. They are STUFFED FULL of lobster. I have never seen a lobster roll with so much actual lobster in it. They were positively divine. And the roll was an authentic New England lobster roll, lightly buttered and toasted. Unbelievable meal!
Pete's is only a half mile from our home, which makes it incredibly convenient. The total for all three items was just about $80 after taxes. Given the amount of lobster in the rolls, they would have been far pricier at any other restaurant. I highly recommend Pete's for either of these meals. The menu is fairly diverse so you are bound to find something you will love. This is a "can't miss"...
Read moreI have been wanting to return to Pete's for some times now. I have heard so many good things coming out of Pete's since my first visit in 2015. I returned and had the Shrimp Po Boy and an order of onion rings.
The shrimp po boy was terrific! The shrimp were not only plump and succulent, but that had a great crisp light flavorful breading. It was a simple breading, yet very effective. It's very important to note that Pete's only used quality wild shrimp, which is quite evident with the flavor and texture of the shrimp.
The po boy came on a locally baked toasted Italian roll with shredded lettuce, freshly sliced tomatoes, and an amazing cajun remoulade made in house. It's a great sandwich.
The order of onions were great, too. They had that same East Coast thin crisp batter. The onion inside were tasty with a touch natural sweetness. The order was definitely enough for sharing.
Customer service was super friendly and welcoming. These are some proud folks, for good reason, too. This place offers plenty of inside and...
