Absolutely stunning pier. I'll be honest, piers are among my favorite things to shoot (📸), however this pier is particularly beautiful. The structure is very tall and narrow, the lines are clean and defined. This is not like the Santa Monica Pier (or even under it), Venice Beach Pier or Malibu Beach Pier. This pier is easily distinguishable from other Southern California Piers. Go early (or later), although there's a lot less foot traffic than Santa Monica or even Venice we did bump into a few other photographers with clients, workout groups taking pictures, and the normal passerbys that stop and take a picture. It is such like a perfect pier, like aesthetically pleasing compared to other piers. The sunset we went there were TONS of people waiting on line to take a picture, from a proposal, grad pictures, maternity photos (congrats again Y'ALL) and then us, some unknown travel vloggers (LOL) but this is really a beautiful picture spot. Everyone was SOOOO respectful of each other which is always nice, there was a line formed and no cutting.
