West Coast Homestays — Attraction in San Diego

Working with Mark and his team at West Coast Homestays to find a month long rental in San Diego was a five star experience.

My family and I were able to stay in a brand new home that was stunning from an architectural and aesthetic perspective.

Everything was brand new and the home was located in a fabulous neighborhood in Pacific Beach. The neighborhood was incredibly pedestrian friendly and it was a gift to be able to walk to the beach, the bay, cafés, restaurants, and explore our surroundings on foot.

We loved Mark and his team, and they went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed for our month long stay.

Our accommodations were impeccable, immaculate, and it truly felt like our home away from home.

Mark and his West Coast Homestays team were also incredibly communicative and responsive. Having a parking spot, a garage, and access to plenty of off street parking was also a perk of staying at this fabulous home.

I’d highly recommend renting a property from West Coast Homestays. It was also helpful to have 3 full baths, 3 bedrooms, and a kitchen that was state of the art and had everything we needed to cook meals using farmer’s market ingredients,

Perks of staying in Pacific Beach also entailed being able to drive to fun nearby towns like Bird Rock, LaJolla, downtown San Diego, North Park, and the Solana Beach...

West Coast Homestays advertised a home that I rented for the weekend as one thing. However, when we got to the house, the master room did not have any power for the entire weekend! I immediately contacted them, and they kept saying they would get it fixed. They didn't come out on Friday (1st day of stay), and then they came out on Saturday afternoon to tell me that it was a circuit breaker issue and that someone would come out within the hour, nobody showed up. I contacted them again Saturday evening and they said they can't get anyone out to work on it until Sunday at 9am (keep in mind our checkout time was Sunday at 10am)! Even with that said, nobody showed up Sunday at 9am as well! Our guests went the whole weekend not able to use the room, and West Coast Homestays did nothing to help rectify the situation. I have contacted them every single day since Friday, July 25th, and all they keep saying is "we will look into it." Horrible service for the homes they have and what...

FANTASTIC STAY! I wanted to visit San Diego with my In Laws last minute and Mark's place came up. I've stayed in hundreds of Airbnb's for my business and can say this was one of the best stays I've ever been at. The beach house was spotless, fully stocked with all amenties and Mark was a great host. Ocean views from top floor, a great deck with fire pit and walkable to great spots. Right across from The Mission for breakfast and a few steps from Guava Beach (Closed for remodel). The beds were SO COMFORTABLE. We made our way to the beach with more than enough chairs provided for our whole party plus beach toys. We cruised the boardwalk with the two beach cruisers provided as well. The price was very reasonable and hope it stays that way because we want to return! Thanks Mark for the stay and hope to rent...
