Lowe's Garden Center — Attraction in San Francisco

DO NOT ORDER PICK-UP ONLINE! In hopes to avoid crowds, and help with social distancing, I ordered few items online, showing available and ready for pick up. Waited for 5(?!) days for my order to be ready for pick-up. Went to the store - in the parking area, there's a 15 min pick up spot, so I thought perfect. NOT! All spots had signage instructing you to call pick up desk and they will deliver it to your car. So I called - 10, 15 min later, no one is picking up. So much for that, I went inside. Naturally pick ups and returns are all in the same spot with a super long line - people standing like cows, not following 6 feet rule, blocking entrance with their carts, or forming a line close to the side, - I'm sure Fire Marshall would have a field day with blocked entrance like that.After additional 20+ minutes of waiting in line, I got to the pick up desk, to discover my order is somewhere else in the store and they will bring it over. Again more waiting and waiting, and waiting and waiting; now a well over an hour I am wondering if they are chopping the wood and milling the planks themselves or is this ever gonna be ready?! Asked the CS peeps again what's the status - they are working on it. After some more prying, I found out now there are items missing, and no one knows where the cart with my loaded items went, so they are picking items again. Talk about waste of resources, time and money! At this point I need to return my rental pick-up, and of course I can't extend it because someone already booked the came vehicle right after me. So I ended up cancelling the entire order and had to rush back to drop of the car in time. Now $50 lighter and with absolutely no materials to complete my "weekend" project. All in all, that SUCKED big time, store was completely disorganized and all over the place - not sure what strategy store manager is doing, but damn that was bad! Long story short - save your self aggravation and time - just go in, wear a mask and get things yourself. You'll be in and out of there...

I like Lowe's. They're in great location that's easy to get to with parking on site. If you don't have a car or whatever you purchased won't find In your car you can rent the Lowe's pickup truck by the hour at a reasonable rate if it's available. They also provide delivery options for various jobs. They've always had everything I need at a decent price.
