I remember when this park was just wood and I would get splinters for going down the slide. There used to be a huge sandbox where the see-saw & kids swing are now. There used to be bushes all around the park, going all the way to the library & everyone would get super lost playing hide & seek in the bushes. There used to be a huge stair case where the West Sunset Parking Lot is, next to the mural, for the days I was too lazy to walk up the hill. Times have changed, the park is rebuilt all modern & it got rid of the sand & the bushes & the two big slides… They added a lot of fun things like the see saw, the jungle gyms, the spinning rides etc. So I take my daughter to this park once in a while cause it’s super close by & convenient. Good public meet up spot to do activities...

Bring back the mini merry go round! Love the variety of demographics enjoying the park in harmony!😇. They need more garbage cans! Love the warm water in the bathroom! Wish there was a water fountain working outside! The Public Library is located there too and I was mortified to see that they are ripping up history books and books in different languages!!
