First time visiting Polly Ann Ice Cream since lockdown and oooft how I’ve missed it. They offer honestly the most unique flavors that you would probably never find at any other ice cream joint. Some of my favs: Thai tea, jasmine tea, black sesame. Many flavors are often seasonal so you never really know what to expect when you stop by. They have a wheel of fortune you can spin for a chance of a free scoop, however, it is currently broken ):⁣ ⁣ I do think their prices may have increased a tad since a year ago but I’m always happy to support such a wholesome local business!⁣ ⁣ Left: Green tea⁣ Right: Jasmine tea⁣ ⁣ 📍Polly Ann Ice Cream, San Francisco

I got the Pink Panda, Oolong Fortune Cookie, and Congee Milk Pudding flavors and they were...interesting to say the least. I appreciate how Polly Ann experiments with unique flavors but none of the ones I got tasted very good. I'm sure their more normal flavors taste better. The ones I got had a weird texture. The fortune cookie was soft and grainy and the Congee had toasted rice bits in there which also made it taste grainy. I guess I don't really like grainy textured icecream. Would possibly come here again when I visit Eggettes next door. But for now, $10 a pint for their normal flavors is a little pricey for me.

Great ice cream shop! The flavor selection is great, there are a lot of dairy free and vegan options, and the staff was exceptionally polite and helpful. The cost is very reasonable for SF too. I got dairy free strawberry with fruity pebbles and the hubs got brigadeiro. The location is nestled in a neighborhood but not very close to main attractions. Please note: there are no public restrooms and seating is limited.

Polly Ann Ice Cream is an absolute gem in the world of frozen treats! From the moment I stepped inside their charming little shop, I was greeted with warmth and enthusiasm that set the tone for an exceptional ice cream experience.

First and foremost, let's talk about the ice cream itself. Polly Ann offers a vast array of flavors that cater to every palate imaginable. Whether you're a traditionalist who craves classics like chocolate and vanilla or an adventurous soul seeking unique creations like lavender honey or black sesame, they have it all. The flavors are crafted with an evident commitment to quality, and you can taste the freshness in every bite.

What truly sets Polly Ann apart is their dedication to authenticity. The ice cream is made on-site, ensuring that each scoop is as fresh as it can be. They use real ingredients, and it shows in the rich, natural flavors. The texture is incredibly smooth and creamy, making every spoonful a delight.

The staff at Polly Ann Ice Cream deserves a special shout-out. They are some of the friendliest and most helpful folks you'll ever encounter. They take their time to explain the flavors, offer samples, and make sure you're completely satisfied with your choice. It's evident that they are passionate about what they do, and their enthusiasm is infectious.

The ambiance of Polly Ann is equally charming. It's a cozy little shop with a vintage feel, perfect for enjoying your ice cream with friends or family. The decor adds to the overall experience, making it a delightful place to spend some quality time.

As someone who has sampled ice cream from all over, I can confidently say that Polly Ann Ice Cream stands out as a true hidden treasure. Whether you're a local looking for a new favorite spot or a visitor seeking a memorable treat, don't miss the opportunity to savor their incredible ice cream. Polly Ann is a must-visit, and I can't wait to return to try even more of their...

The cookies must have been expired. 2 of them were hard as nails. One cookie was greasy and had honey on top. I couldn't figure out the flavor in any of the cookies because could only taste the sugar. I thought I was going to lose my teeth biting them. The small muffin was smudged and looked unappealing. Threw away after one bite - again could not tell the flavor because it was so old. The ice cream did not have flavor, and just tasted full of sugar. Got a caffee latte and a mocha almond, and could not taste the coffee. The presentation of the sundae was cheap. It was just 2 scoops in a party plate with whipped cream. The toppings were stored in tupperware. The chocolate candy bar tasted stale. I couldn't taste the chocolate. The service was horrible. A female server had too much make up on for an ice cream store. The manager did not know how to make money - refused to sell me everything I wanted. In a way, the petty manager did me a favor because the food was unhealthy, low quality ingredients. He saved me from diabetes and high...

What can I say? This is a San Francisco institution that tantalizes the city with creamy, unique flavors often of the Asian persuasion. I stopped by after a long time because, let's face it, this place is out in the fog belt netherlands (and I live on the edge of it, too!). The great weather today and my date with a bowl of chicken pho up the road on Noriega reminded me to take a visit.

The flavors have expanded since I've last come to this bright airy space. My new discovery is the Goji Ginger--a fantastic ginger base with plump, soft goji berries throughout. The place was slammed with parents and rowdy children, but what do you expect for a sunny Sunday and flavors like Star Wars and Bumpy Freeway? The roulette wheel offers something for those that cannot decide. A single scoop is a mere $2.95. This is cheaper than Marco Polo, but the texture is more of an...
