12/17/2024 - Finally getting time to add to my review. I had hoped to give more info between treatments, but life happens and here it is now.
I recently completed the fourth and final PicoSure Pro facial treatment in my package and am so glad that I decided to move forward with it. The dark spots that I was a little self-conscious about are lighter or gone completely.
If you are considering PicoSure Pro or any treatment, I encourage you to ask questions before during and after the procedure. If you are like me, I want to make sure I am understanding what is being done to my face and how to make sure I treat it after for the best results. The staff always takes time to answer my questions even though I ask the same ones each treatment.
During Treatment: One of my main questions was the pain factor. There will ALWAYS be a level of discomfort, but they do numb your face so you do not feel much and consistently check to make sure you are feeling OK. You will still feel something as it is part of the process.
After Treatment: It is important to follow the recommendations for keeping your face cool after the treatment. I always purchased extra rejuvenating masks as it helped cool my face a great deal. One thing I did not expect the first time was the spots getting darker and ugly while healing. It took 2 – 3 weeks for me to heal completely. I did not take pics of my face at this stage but probably should have to show that it will look WORSE, but then will heal and look AMAZING! Definitely follow up with the recovery facial a week later.
Long Term Maintenance: I continue to use the recommended SkinCeuticals CE Ferulic in the morning and the Zo Skin Retinol at night. It has definitely helped me. Make sure to ask how to use each recommended product based on your skin type.
I added a couple of photos from my start date to the present. I love being in the outdoors, so I know I will probably need to have maintenance treatments at least once or twice a year. I am very pleased with the results and appreciate the entire staff at BG Medical Aesthetics.
2/17/24 Visited BG medical aesthetics for the follow up recovery facial. Once again, the entire staff was so wonderful and welcoming. It has been a week since my PicoSure Pro treatment for my age spots and dark circles under my eyes. I have gone to many places for facials, but I have to say WOW! This was by far the best facial experience I have ever received. The aesthetician was amazing. What a difference in the appearance and texture of my skin after she was done.
Words cannot express the gratitude I have for the transformation that I have seen in just one week. I took my own before and after photos because I wanted to truly see for myself whether the treatment was worth it. It DEFINITELY is! I never posts photos of myself, but I am truly amazed. The pictures are a side-by-side comparison of my face before and after the PicoSure Pro and recovery facial. Cannot believe the wonderful change in just one week. THANK YOU BG Medical Aesthetics!
2/3/24 This was my first time getting a procedure done to lighten my age spots and dark circles under my eyes. I was a bit nervous, but felt more at ease after speaking with the NP who explained the procedure with the PicoSure Pro. During the procedure she explained what she was doing and answered all my questions. It’s been a week and I am really liking the change. Going for a customized skin barrier recovery facial this weekend. Will post again...

Overall experience with BG Spa as a business, is terrible business practice.
TLDR; Got a facial. Did not want to open a loan to make payments for a facial, and I did not need to. Reps and Boss lady screamed at me over the phone and in person trying to tell me it was not a loan (showed them docs from the loan company welcoming me to the loan). Asked me to make a payment while I was there because I didn't pay them even after showing the transaction through the loan company. BG Spa did not close my account so I had to contact the loan company to close my account.
After finishing my facial, I had soup and crackers and we discussed financials. She sold me on a 6 package facial, but she said I HAD to make payments via this medical payment program that is 0% interest. I said I didn't need to open a loan. She said, it's not a loan, it's how they accept payments. She said it's a medical payment program that many businesses use. I did not feel like this was right, but she said I had no other option on how I was able to pay. I created my account and left. Over time, I received a notification from my bank saying I opened a loan. Then I got a letter in the mail welcoming me to becoming a member of a credit union.
I called the business to speak to them regarding this issue and the first call I had, she screamed at me because she didn't like the fact that I was calling it a loan. I don't know if they understand that is a loan, but she was so heated she said she was with a patient and she had to call me back. I don't know who would be screaming at a patient over the phone while having a patient in front of you, but sure. Someone calls me back and we start the whole conversation all over. This lady also kept denying that I had opened a loan, but later on asked me if I would like to continue my package via making payments with them personally asking me if I would be okay with different types of packages bribing me to keep my account open and to continue getting facials from them. I just want to make a payment for the previous services rendered and close my whole account. I said I'd come to the office one day, make the payment, and close my account.
I went to the business after seeing that I had a transaction in my bank account. I showed them my bank account with the transaction being made. She took a picture and screamed at me while we were discussing the issue. Long story short, she said she could not close my account because I did not make any payments to them. Then she said I would have also refunded you, but you're calling me a liar. Which I didn't either. I didn't pay them and I contacted the loan company they used to...

My upper back has been really sore lately and I was overdue for a massage. I found Beautiful Glow through Classpass and booked a Saturday appointment.
I followed the instructions on Classpass and parked at the Hilton for free. They recommended I park in the neighboring underground plaza next time. It was a little confusing to find at first. When coming up to the 2nd floor from the underground parking garage elevator, turn right and walk to the corner of the plaza (opposite side of Tsujita LA), pass through the glass door to the Hilton side, and the entrance is the first immediate door on the left.
Before my appointment, I signed some paperwork and they offered me a cute bottle of water.
The first time I was here, I had a Deep Tissue Massage with Jean. She was very friendly and nice. She told me my whole body is very tight and recommended I come back once or twice a week, if I have time. She was gentle about the suggestion. The massage was very intense and Jean adjusted to a lighter pressure. My body really needed this massage and was sore for a few days.
The second time I was here, I had a Deep Tissue Massage with Lily. I thought I signed up for another Deep Tissue, but it felt more like AromaTouch Massage. I appreciated that she asked me what type of pressure I wanted and which areas I wanted to focus on. I felt all of the knots in my upper back and neck. The only thing that threw me off was the use of hot stones on my back. I wasn't expecting them, but the warmth was nice. I think she also used some type of guasha tool to really loosen the knots in my back.
After each massage, they guided me to another room to discuss a package offer of 20 sessions for a discounted rate. Their facility offers other services that include access to the Hilton gym. I will definitely come back for...
