Little Dragon Arts — Attraction in San Gabriel

I had the pleasure of visiting Little Dragon Arts, and I can honestly say it’s a hidden gem! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff is incredibly talented and knowledgeable. My kids also attend the art classes here, and they absolutely love it! It’s been amazing to see their creativity grow with the guidance of such wonderful instructors. Not a place I’d recommend. We joined a trial class after seeing an ad promoting bilingual instruction—our child is fluent in both English and Mandarin, so we thought it would be a good fit. But after class, the teacher (who spoke excellent Mandarin) subtly suggested we not return, saying our 7-year-old didn’t understand her explanation of primary colors in English. If full understanding is expected at age 7, why offer classes at all? Ironically, our child is an award-winning student at school. The quick judgment and dismissive attitude were disappointing. The teacher is very patient and makes learning art fun and engaging. My child truly enjoys each class, and I’ve seen great improvement in both skills and creativity. Highly recommend this class to anyone who loves to draw!
