Jeffs Sporting Goods — Local services in San Gabriel

I wanted to like this store, but I don't believe I will be going back. I like to take my time in sporting good stores and look at everything. The three times I visited the store I was followed and watched. I understand customer service and protecting your losses, but I was not made to feel comfortable. Call it what you will, I have been told I have that look to me. The firearms are priced very high, not competitive in that department whatsoever, especially in relation to what else is available in the area. I was shopping and price comparing for a handgun purchase. I asked to see a specific handgun they had in the case. The gentleman asked for my handgun safety certificate. I keep it home in my safe.The gentleman explained that its company policy, that if I don't have it, I cant see the firearm. The reason given was I might drop the handgun and damage it. It was also explained to me, without me inquiring whatsoever, that the gentleman who had just left, the parking enforcement officer, he was able to handle the firearm he was interested in purchasing without a certificate cause he was a cop. To each their own. I feel we have enough restrictions and hoops to jump through here in California concerning arms. Anti gun store that sell gun. Really. Staff Not friendly and very anti selling guns. They would not allow you to touch any gun without a gun safety certificate, and will not sell you any gun if they feel that you don't know how to operate a gun, and if you want to take a gun safety certification, you must make an appointment even when all the lic. Staff are just sitting around. Feel like These are same that kind of people that elected all democrats to office to destroy our second amendment rights to own gun.
