Dead Time Dreams — Attraction in San Jose

This was my first time doing a haunted house, but I am so glad I did. The layout and theming made great use of the space, I was impressed by the way the line area was its own entertainment similar to Disneyland rides. It took me a while to realize the show hadn't started yet. I wish my voice wasn't sore because I really wanted to scream a bunch. The actors were very entertaining to watch and I found them endearing right away, it was fun just watching then interact. I had to work really hard not to give away when I was scared because I knew I would get bullied harder if I did, hahaha.... there was this cool clown performer who made sparks fly from the ground from her hands and it was so awesome. Place was lame. Scare factor low. Had a couple jump scares but if you are looking for legit scare go else where. I drove an hour and a half. Got VIP. And it was a joke.... nothing scary. went to see the new halloween movie instead to make up for the highly disappointing evening. The actors were lame, the costumes not scary. They had an actor dressed as a squirrel like come on. I thought I did my research but was let down. 4.5 stars on Yelp my but. 2 stars. The kid side looked way more entertaining. So going to southern ca or back to Utah where they have nightmare on 13th street. Now that place was legit, costumes, make up, decorations. They put time, and energy into making it scary. The actors wanted to scare... took my friend to this place for her 1st haunted attention and well I was let down big time.... never going back....

Honestly I was disappointed with my experience to dead time dreams haunted houses. The river Styx haunted house was so plain and short and there were only maybe 3 actors in there to try and scare you and it seemed that couldn't even be managed. From the reviews and advisement on this place it sounded really good, but nevertheless I left unsatisfied after waiting a whole 40 minutes after they opened for the haunted attraction to prepare. The other haunted house was ok but as I said still an unsatisfying experience for the money I paid. I really hope you guys do better next year. Especially for the way you advertise this place as the so called scariest...
