It was fine when it wasn't busy, but then later on it became a long wait and misunderstanding. There was a new employee, his first day, and I don't blame him. He was with another coworker who was making the drinks as he took the orders. Wait was long, but then found out from the female worker that they "don't sell food" when I had ordered the waffles. I should have just substitute it for another drink, but then decided on a refund instead. They refunded cash instead of back to my card.
The waffle was $5.25 not including tax. They gave the exact change minus the tax. I told them about it and the female worker didn't want to do the math so she said to just give an extra 25 cents back. I calculated the tax and told them it was 49 cents back and not half what they gave me. I even showed them the calculator and the tax on the receipt. Tax was 9.375% or so. They told me "yeah we gave you 50 cents" and I had to explain to them that they gave me the original $5.25 and an extra 25 cents. I needed the remaining 24 cents. The female worker seemed like she wasn't having it and it was too complicated for her so she told the new worker to just give me another 25 cents.
I wasn't paying attention to the tea name on the receipt because after leaving the counter to sit, I noticed it was the wrong tea. But by then I didn't want to make anymore trouble for the new worker, so I let it go.
More over, I was watching the female worker make everyone's drink. She was very unsanitary towards handling the cup to the ice to the teas. I kind of stopped watching after she put her fingers inside the cup to transfer to the next table to scoop ice into the cup as the ice falls onto her hand, back into the ice container, scooped again and repeated. Then pouring the last remaining drop of tea from the big jug, instead of making new tea, she tries to tip the jug to get every drop (probably watered down and old by now).
The male worker was super nice and apologetic. I hope he has more confidence and still works. That was the only plus side of the place. Thankfully the drinks were made with no unsanitary measures and they tasted...
Read moreThis place has very polite staff, but the drinks are mediocre. Many of their drinks taste synthetic and too sweet. Maybe they use extra sweetness to cover up the bad flavor of the syrup. Definitely ask for low sweetness when you go. If you like to eat candy, then this place might be right for you. The location is nice if you'd like some drink after watching a movie or finishing dinner at the mall, but I do not recommend going out of your way to try out their drinks. If anything, it might be better than the soft drinks that are served in the...
Read moreOrdered a coffee and two milk teas at this location. The staff that was attending to my order was helpful and even provided sample of the coffee that I was thinking of ordering. She was also patient when I made some additional requests to the two milk teas that I was purchasing. As there are two staff working at this location, the waiting time for getting my orders is pretty good. Finally, one comment about the sweetness of the milk teas is that it is still quite sweet even at 30% of the regular...
