Iglesia Universal — Attraction in San Jose

There could be three people here or 300, they still use the PA system for both, and they set it at volumes that are intended to be only used for 80,000 person arenas. It is absolutely deafening here. It physically hurts your ears having your eardrum shattered the way these people scream into that unbelievably loud microphone. Putting that aside, there's barely any meaningful sermons or messages being portrayed here. I've been to half a dozen services so far and it's the same tiny handful of selected and carefully manicured passages from the Bible, 99% of which have been from John chapters 3 and 5. Any questions asked, will be given the pure dodgid deflect treatments. All they want to do here is scream and yell into microphones, repeat the same manicured crap over and over and over again, and then collect money. Every service. Service so far, there's been a minister who Hawks merchandise for about 10 to 15 minutes. What truly baffles me, is that all over their stained glass windows. They have the ten commandments and menorahs. They have a gigantic menorah up on the altar, along with a golden replica of the ark of the covenants. They also have such other gaudy decorations like a gigantic LED red cross that people can walk through during service, like it's some magical healing portal to another dimension. I've asked several of the church employees as to why they have a conflicted biblical portrayal in this building, specifically, that they have Hebrew and Old testament decorations, but they are firmly convinced that Jesus was the Messiah, and that they are Christians. And of course you get to stand their Dodge and deflect. There's another part of their services where they have church employees, not even priests or ministers, just regular old people who hawk merchandise, and they go around to all the parishioners to do some sort of exorcism. This happens every time. I'm not kidding. They'll say a bunch of random repeated words, typical Jesus stuff, and then they'll make this unbelievably loud, ear piercing banshee like nightmare torturing sounds, while rubbing your body quickly with their hands and then throwing their hands up in the air. It's some weird sort of cheap version of an exorcism that's just annoying if anything. Overall, this church has no unified message, they use the same recycled crap at any place else uses, but it's much worse. They don't even bother to go outside of the gospel of John on most occasions, and just keep repeating the same lines over and over again.
