Iāve been living in the Bay Area for over 10 years and I have only now just visited the Japantown Farmerās Market for the first time. What a gem!!! Itās a super lovely set-up with tents, tables, chairs, and games in the center and all of the stands on the perimeter. Pretty decent selection of stands for a small market too; thereās basically one of each type of major vendor present (coffee, fruits, veggies, seafood, etc.). Even the DJ was great! But the best part of all was one of the hot food vendors⦠They have one of the best damn Japanese curries Iāve ever had (outside of Japan). And it was prepared with such care too! The organic farmers have great berries and their prices are fair. I think Farmer's Markets should be about organic foods. I was told that every other week is a lighter week, with less vendors. The pictures shown are of a lighter week. Everyone was so nice and friendly. We bought from almost every tent!
