My stay was not as enjoyable as I would have liked, when I arrived to check in I was assigned a room on the 4th floor, when I got to my room, it was being painted by maintenance. So I had to go back down to the lobby and get a new room, which was on the 4th floor again.. it was a hassle initially just having to go back and fourth, especially after a long night of work and driving to the hotel from home. The guy manning the front desk was a bit creepy and asked too many questions about my stay/activity in the hotel. He questioned why I only booked for one night, as if he had the right to know. Later on, I came down to get a pizza I had delivered and then I asked for assistance to get down to the garage because I needed items out of my car. The front desk guy was just in my business a little too much. He asked, “why would you order a pizza and then asked to be let out of the parking garage.” I’m not sure why he would inquire about that, I was heading down to get more things out of my car but it rubbed me the wrong way, although I kept the interaction polite, I don’t believe your staff should be questioning the activities of the guest. It’s weird and rude. I don’t believe my activity was suspicious in anyway whatsoever as I am free to do what I would like, within legal limits. After being questioned by the employee, I didn’t want to return and ended up leaving the property and going to another hotel because I felt uncomfortable after the...
Read moreMy mom, my boyfriend, our daughter and I stayed here for 4 days 3 nights. The room was nice and i appreciated the high ceilings, however the floors are thin and you can hear every step from the people above you. The parking situation is terrible. If they’re offering valley there should be a proper valet attendant. The only person working there that left a good impression was Sylvia. The other women there were rude and kind of lazy. Everytime i stepped out of my room i was asked if i was checking out, by the front desk staff and housekeeping, it gives an unwelcoming vibe. When checking out, we told the woman in the front (that parks in the way of the front drive through) that we needed to make 2 trips to the car because we had a lot of bags, she then said we were “high maintenance” 👎🏼 I wouldn’t recommend staying here, maybe La Quinta has good hotels elsewhere but this location is not worth the cost. Parking is an additional $20/night which was not mentioned at the time of booking and we were told as we were checking out that since we had the room “double booked” it was an additional $20/extra person per night. This makes no sense to me because I had put 3 adults 1 infant at the time of booking and therefore got a room with 2 queen beds, which doesn’t seem...
Read moreOur 3 day stay was very nice until our last night. Parking is an issue for vehicles bigger than an suv. At check in they did tell us this and I was about to cancel and go to another hotel but yet my semi truck driver husband can drive anything and was able to park and the hotel allowed it. When Ever you leave or come back you have to notify the front desk to open the parking garage.
On my last night front desk rep was fed up with other guest that when it was our turn to tell her to open the parking garage she didn’t want to have it and canceled our reservation, called the police to escort us out. On what grounds? Honestly idk she just didn’t want to listen at the fact that we been staying here and we were allowed to park in the garage. This occurred at 1am . Imagine if I had my children with me . The audacity! Police officers convinced her to let us stay considering no crime took place. If you don’t want a headache with staff nor parking. Look somewhere else. So many other hotels in the area. Never coming back to this one again and it’s sad because I love the wyham hotel franchise but this one weird . But if you have a small Honda it’s an ok...
