Mercado California — Attraction in San Jose

The guy that works at the meat department is unprofessional, unkind and seems like he is never happy to help out the customers He is always replying back to you very rudely and unprofessional. When asked if “they” meaning the store had any additional meat or shrimp pre-packaged his response was “Me I don’t have any myself but the store those in the back!” Like I are you serious right now!!! But he said it very rudely and not very happy in wanting to help me out!! I honestly just walked away and told him thank you for your time! I honestly don’t understand why people are so rude and unprofessional, if you are not having a good day at all, their is no need for you to take it out on the rest of the people.

This was the second time that it had happened to me and I thought maybe he was having a stressful day since I had gone in during New Year’s Day the first time. But I guess that’s the way he is even when it isn’t...

This MEXICAN MARKET In A Neighborhood Shopping Center is Packed With Products And Merchandise!! Outside Also,Is A HOT FOOD STAND: Champurado Atole, TAMALES, And MORE!!i Really Liked the Atole & TAMALES!!! YOLANDA WAS The Friendly And Personable Lady Assoc. i Was Served By! She Really Does Her Job Well, And Performs Her Tasks Quite Well !! Inside They Had Advertised Specials: i was Able To Take Advantage of a couple: cans of LA LECHERA Sweet Condensed Milk, And 2 Liter PEPSI Products They had Cold Pepsi 2 Liter in Their Cold Cases, on The Far side of the Store. It was Really An Enjoyable Experience, And i Intend To Come In Again, Just As Soon As It's Convenient!! i Hope some of the PICS i've Included are a Decent Presentation of Their Varied Product Offerings! I am Mexican and in no way shape or form do I condone the behavior of the workers. Right now I was in the store and some homeless people walked in. And we're followed around like animals. The cashier's said that the owner yells at them if someone steals. This place follows homeless and African people around. The people walked to the meat section grabbed a pound of meat and paid. And left. Didn't walk around or anything. This is a over priced and racist store. As a Mexican I'm ashamed of this behavior and will never shop here again.
