YOUR MONEY IS VULNERABLE! New banking is atrocious and barely secure. Hurry log in and change password before your account(s) is/are cleaned out!
I was forced today to log in with my 4 of SS# and my birthday to changed my password (All Customer are forced to I assume). Do you know how many people have that simple information of mine?!?!???? And yours?!?!?
Ok a phone text too, but you know there are ways around those things, phone clones or whatever. I didn't like finding out my money was so vulnerable.
Anyway, then I changed my password as forced to by the new system. Then did some transfers.
So anyway, the real problem is I couldn't get back in and there is no "forgot password" at the moment. I'm on hold...
After a very long wait the on two different numbers, two phones, the number displayed for this specific new log on problem kept me on hold for 45 minutes. The account lock out number eventually answered after 25 minutes and helped me.
You think they would have extra staff during a change over because they made it so very difficult and confusing to log in.
My husband can't even get into his accounts and was hung up on by Meriwest numerous times. I will encourage him to write his experiences with Meriwest today.
So the second account lockout number helped me into my accounts, but if it this difficult again and UNSECURE, I will likely keep these accounts just for book keeping etc., but will take my vast fortune to one of my other banks/credit unions.
Which would be very upsetting because this is currently my main bank/credit union and would have to change all the numbers and information. I really should for my money's security, but such a hassle.
And if that happens I will intensely hate this bank (right now I intensely dislike the establishment), but probably never as much as Wells Fargo who actually stole some money (their mistake they would not fix), so I guess it could be worse.
I wonder how long to get any stolen funds or not get back stolen funds for customers who have been robbed due to this UNSECURE MONEY situation, if any.
I have to wonder, do all banks/credit union leave their customers money so vulnerable during a changeover? It just seems like a really stupid and irresponsible thing to do.
If I was a hacker and criminal, I bet I could steal millions today and tomorrow and who knows how many days until everyone has logged in to secure their money, just saying. I don't like this unprofessional situation!
Plus just the FEELING of my money being soooo UNSECURE is very upsetting, especially the more I write and think about it how lame this bank is for doing such an irresponsible thing.
Maybe I should take my money somewhere else that aren't...
