RICEPO LLC — Attraction in San Jose

This is the worst food delivery app. I had never ever encountered anything like this before. “No legitimate Customer Service Support At All” I had disputed my order because my food was not as described and my delivery was delayed for over 1 hour. I had used RICEPO many times before. This was my first time to dispute my order. I placed order 7:49 pm and received my order 9: 14 pm. (The app says estimated time 30-45mins) I ordered soup based food, and it is common sense that you can not let your food sit so long in the soup because it will make your food soggy and less tasty .

Second of all, I order the food based on their fabulous pictures they provided on the app. I spent $42.71 and got a very small portion of food, the size was like one small bowl. Obviously, the merchant tried to push everything into a small bowl and cut off some portion of my food. I ordered the same dish before at different restaurants, and it cost me $14.99 had the same portion like this one. My order was three items order. It is full of scam, and merchant intended to use false photo to scam customers. After I received my order, I called RICEPO many many times after I received the my order, and no one answered. I have filed a complaint and attached the food photo to Recipo. No any further actions have been taken afterwards except a simple message reply says “ we will let customer know your concern”. The food was not well packed compared to other merchants. It had very thin layer plastic bag and squeezed everything together. All the liquid was spilled in the bag.

What you wanna me to say? I had a better option and free subscription for DoorDash. DoorDash has plenty of authentic Chinese Food as well. I was so kind to support this new developer. I was just so wrong to believe this app. After I disputed with my credit card, Recipo kept sending text messages to harass me on Friday and Saturday morning and asked me to revoke my dispute with my credit card.

They are so unprofessional and inconsiderate. The item was not as described, either was delivery on time. The food was not as same as the picture showed. The merchant was trying to scam me . The only feedback I received from Recipo was very brief text message. I didn't really expect this simple text feedback to solve my dissatisfaction. However, they are still requestioned me, why I need my refund ? and what was my real reason for the refund? I definitely want my full refund back instead of a simple text message reply . I won't use this App anymore. They really should put their feet into customer's shoes and rethink about this. If you received this over delayed service and bad quality food like what I had, what do you think about it? Are you happy with a simple feedback reply? It seems like Recipo didn't like to put much effort to solve the problem.

I hope I can rate you at 0. Worst delivery app ever. It happened serval times, it showed me delivery time range about 30-40mins, but it take far from that, usually around 75-120mins. They kept changing the time range, and blamed everything on the restaurants every time it happened.

You can’t even find their customers service for any assistance.

Once I called their customer service, who is also the driver and the manager in my area(?? Hire someone dude), she told me “ this is Ricepo, you can choose Ubereats or DoorDash if you have problem with us. You didn’t pay for it, that’s why you deserve it” Actually Ubereats and DoorDash charge less than you!

No one will use your app if they have choose. Ricepo is the only Chinese delivery app in this Area, that’s why I choose to use it.

This is the worst food delivery app I have ever used. Our food spilled out when it arrived. Customer service didn’t really know what they were talking about, which only gave us useless help and endless waiting time. And they returned only part of the amount, which they “think” related to the overall performance. What a great job deserved 18% tips and additional delivery fee.
