I went to the bad bunny concert on Saturday ,August 9th 2025 expecting an amazing night, but I left feeling deeply shaken — and not because of the music. Inside the arena, there was a feature where you could take fun photos at high-top tables with a nice background. But when you walk just around the corner, you’re suddenly faced with a coffin and a mirror that reads “This is your last photo.”
I understand the message they were trying to send — “Don’t drink and drive” — but the way they chose to present it was incredibly inappropriate and triggering. There was no warning before you saw it, and they have no idea what personal pain people may be carrying into that space. Some people have lost loved ones to drunk driving… others to unrelated accidents… and for many, seeing a coffin so unexpectedly can open wounds they are still trying to heal.
In my case, this was a very emotional trip. I lost my niece earlier this year when she was hit by a car. She was supposed to be with us for this concert. Seeing that coffin instantly brought all of that pain back, and it completely changed the mood of the night for me. While her passing wasn’t due to drunk driving, the display was still a painful and unnecessary reminder of my loss.
If the goal is to encourage people to make safe choices after the concert — to take an Uber, to not drive under the influence — there are better, more compassionate ways to do it. Use powerful stories, videos, or survivor testimonials. Hand out flyers or give announcements. Offer that 15% off Uber code without traumatizing people in the process.
A coffin with no context or warning is not the way. This display was a terrible idea, and I hope the organizers seriously rethink their approach...
Read more🇵🇷 Puerto Rico is fortunate to have El Coliseo or “El Choloseo” as the locals call it in honor of its namesake. If you can afford to leave your car at home, do it!!! I highly recommend taking a taxi or an Uber here it is extremely difficult to find parking and you hear many stories about people turning around going back home and asking for a refund (which is not always successful)!
The security is tight 🏆, do not bring outside food or drinks in. The place holds up to 18,000 people! I’ve attended numerous concerts here; Marc Anthony, JLo and a big lineup classic Salsa performers. 💃🏿 🕺🏿 I also attended the super Monster Truck Show and appreciated the fact that management handed everyone foam earplugs. I learned that the “Club Nivel” level seating is worth every penny...the less pricey upper levels were too steep for me to climb and the seats are much smaller...if you’re thin and not afraid of heights then give it a go!
NOTE: There is handicap parking but it’s in the smallest area and there’s a good chance you won’t get a spot, make alternate plans and like I suggested it’s better to Uber it here or take a taxi...
Read moreI spent $2000 on VIP bad bunny tickets $300 on merch and 200 on food and drinks and it started out as a good night. Stadium staff was very nice and welcoming. Food was great and bad bunny was excellent! Unfortunately I had to go to rest room and as I was leaving security 779 ask where I was going and I stated to rest room. Once I returned security would not allow me to return the same way I left. So I followed security instructions on how to return to me seat. Once I made it to my section I was confronted by security 779. He was telling me I had to go different way even after another lady was allowed to return to her seat. Even after I showed him my ticket he refused to allow me to my seat. Even after his supervisor told him to let me go to my seat he still refused after putting his hands on me twice. Horrible experience and almost missed the very moment I paid so much money for. Thank you...
