Parque de Perros Arterial Hostos — Attraction in San Juan

The park itself is beautiful. I've been going since it opened and have always had a wonderful experience. Today was different. We parked in the same spot we always park at when visiting the park. There was only one other person with us at the park. It would have been easy to notify us if there was an issue with our parking. We had never had an issue until today. There is a policehut there now after alot of GTAs and break-ins occured. Most of the time, it is empty. Today, the policeman there decided to ticket us $200 as fast as he could without any effort as to warn us. Mind you, there are NO SIGNS in the area warning of a $200 parking fine. Very nice wide space for dogs to run arround, sniff and play! Theres a security guard station right next to the park, a hose with fresh water, stainless steal bowls (theres more than 1) and a chest filles with bags and other cleaning materials for anyone to use! Park is always taken care of. The community here are inviting and dogs love to socialize with everyone. It’s open, so in rainy days can be a little messy.
