Hotel Primavera — Attraction in San Juan

DO NOT BOOK. I read the bad reviews and am usually not bothered by low quality places that's cheap. But this is by exceptionally bad. There is no way to communicate with this hotel. They don't answer the phone so when my flight was delayed (common here) and they left me stranded without a way to access. Had to stay somewhere else the first night and was lucky to find availability so late. But was not a safe situation. it's more of a guest house / no contact place than it is a "hotel" which would almost be fine if they would communicate. The grocery store owner was able to reach out and get me the codes eventually. Here's a list of everything wrong with the room: No light in the bathroom and minimal light in the room that works. No blanket... I'm not kidding you. I know it's humid nights but sleeping with just a sheet is not easy. No hot water. Thankfully here in summer so water is warm enough. Toilet runs constantly. Not the soothing waterfall sleep sounds you might think it'd be lol. No garbage can so I just have a trash pile.

Rooms are not secure. Once you know one door code, all of them are pretty obvious.

The messages I've gotten through the booking site have been rude and unhelpful. Just absotule...

The hotel is above a grocery store/a restaurant. This is all family owned. The grocery store/restaurant closes at 11 pm. and loud music goes on until closing. The ad about the rooms isn't accurate because there was no room with 2 queen size beds. Our room had a twin bed put in at the moment we asked because we reserved a room with 2 queen beds and they took us to a tiny room with 1 queen bed. We let them know that we reserved a room with 2 queen bed because we were 3 adults. After accepting the room with the added twin bed they left and we started putting our things on the bed. As we unpacked we notice there was NO bathroom door. We had to use one of the shower towels to attach it to the door hinges so that we could have the privacy. The beds are a matress placed on a huge cement block, it was so hard that I couldn't sleep very well. The best was that the air conditioning was great, but the night was so cool that we didn't need the air. This should not even be a place on Expedia the experience was insane the pictures are a lie the area is full of addicts and drunks we got there at 4 everything was locked up there’s no front desk you have to go to the front bar to get to speak to someone everyone was drunk was told to get in we have to speak Spanish and pay her $20 or buy a beer when we found a translator she told the room code to everyone that was outside but still did not unlock the door so my money was wasted we spent 8 hours on the street until we found another place to stay nothing is real about this listing worse experience of my life I cried and cried until the translator Richard was kind enough to help us navigate somthing else even he said it would be unsafe for us there Expedia or the room did not call me back , replace my money or offer any care to the situation … you book here you most likely will be out the door or waking up to drunken strangers...
