Really love the Mega Marshalls here. Although this Marshalls is brimming with goodies, dont expect to find much in the swim suit department. I saw a beautiful jewel toned bathing costume at the Aguadilla Marshalls and didn't buy it. (Smacks self in head.😑) Was hoping to find the same suit in a different size at the MEGA store. Nope. It's mega alright but swim selections are minimal. We live on an island! There should be ample choices without spending $200. I made that mistake with my last bathing suit (purchased at a popular surf shop, btw) and I'm holding that suit together with a ponytail holder because it's so stretched out. My last suit from Marshalls was $50 and lasted forever. Guess I'll check the other Marshalls. My advice is: when you see something you like and really need it, buy it right then & there! Don't wait and hope it'll turn up elsewhere. I can't stop thinking about the swim suit I passed up that looked perfect on me, except bottoms were too big. (Smacks self harder!!) I could've put that neutral colored top with any color bottom. What was I thinking?!
Now, the outlet mall is very nice and not too crowded. Love the Starbucks! Kindest baristas you could hope for. BEST Ultra Caramel Frappuccino! I did search high and low in almost every store for a swim suit. Still no luck but I didn't leave empty handed. Got a really cute sundress and a great pair of vintage denim shorts. Even got the hubster to accompany me. Whoa! Instead of our daily beachwalk, we got our exercise on whilst shopping. Win/win. I rewarded him with a chic shirt that he wanted to hate but actually liked. Lots of fast food bites to choose from. Did see lots of great sales. If you're looking for a movie theater you can hit up the Caribbean Cinema here. Lots to do. Parking isn't a chore. Overall,...
Read moreIt is nice to know that somebody is monitoring the ratings, and cares enough to request feedback. I'll post it here, to add to the pool of opinions. I don't believe the Outlets at Montehiedra currently deserves more than three stars, as several significan elements can and should be improved.
The first and most obvious one is parking. It's an unholy mess, and woefully insufficient. There simply is not enough convenient parking for anybody: not for disabled drivers, not for pregnant women, and not for fully abled clients. The expectation is that you'll almos always park "far" under the scorching sun or the pouring rain, as there is no covered parking and no multi-floor parking.
The selection of stores is basic; most of the large franchises you expect to find at an outlet mall are missing. Furthermore, the stores there are, are far from inexpensive. We currently go to Montehiedra basically just for Marshalls, The Home Depot, and the Cinema. Occasionally we visit the Nike store, but again, the prices are not particularly exciting most of the time.
The Food Court is average to mediocre, and space is also insufficient during peak times, and the variety of offers is pretty limited.
In closing, while the distance from the San Juan Metro area should make it a strong alternative to the malls of San Juan and Plaza las Americas, the fact is that Montehiedra does not have a compelling enough offer to attract far more clients than it...
Read moreWorst experience everrrr! First time going there with my family to watch a movie. Arrived around 9:15pm and when i got back to my car, all my four wheels of my 2016 Accord Touring were stolen!!! They left my car standing on concrete blocks. Parking lot was full and well lit, no one saw anything, security guards didn’t see nobody. Even though their security office is looking towards the parking lot. Asked for evidence such as camera video and they said that they don’t know if they were working properly!!! Caimito Police department showed up wrote their report and that was it. I stayed overnight with my wife on another vehicle just to watch my vehicle so it couldn’t be desmantaled throughout the night. Please be careful over there , nobody is watching y’alls vehicles over there. I was told by a cop that there’s a gang working around that...
