88 Manor Market 88 超市 — Attraction in San Leandro

The shopping spot for fresh meats, vegetables, fruits, boxed pastries, and oriental/islanders cuisine are plentiful and fresh!!! Easy location but the parking is limited...there are resturants, salons, and shops of intetest! There are couple of banks across the street and pizza parlor, regular grocery store, and a Post Office surrounds this wonderful shopping place! You can get four (4) different sweet potatoes, fresh appkes, oranges, mangoes, watermelons, seasonal fruits and vegetables. They have Asian vegetables, fruits, meats, and vegetables...sweets, cookies, and snacks are availabe down isles with ample space and shelfs that are constantly being replentish but no "twin dagon" cookies are available!!! Cashiers are polite, fast, and inquires any help or assistence for your needs.. Yes, and they speak English very well!!! They store is clean, no unpleasant smell, or unsightly things to look at and wonder!!! Very pleasant experience there and you might catch glimpse of my presence there... Nice...

Rude customer service. I asked for help to get a package of tea on top of an aisle beyond my arm reach when having my products processed to pay. The cashier proceeded to pressure me to pay for my items right away because the additional employee had yet to arrive even after I insisted upon waiting. I paid for my items & then received help to get the tea package. When it came time to pay for the tea package, the cashier made me get an additional item in order to pay with card. Impatient customer service from that cashier. My experience with this store would not have been as poor as it was if the cashier had waited literally 30 more seconds. Highly recommend going to another Asian grocery store to avoid frustrating...

07/25/2025 updated review. Yesterday I shopped at this location of the 88-Market. I now question the integrity of this market: I purchased three boxes of 'frozen' Mochi Ice Cream. After I arrived home and began to place them in the freezer. By saving space, I took them out of the box container, and I found thar 2 'frozen' items appear defrosted prior, melted, and thrown back into the freezer, with disregard of food safer or integrity of the company. I have been shopping at this location for more than 5 years and now need to make other markets to spend my...
