Shhhhh! Don't tell anyone about this hidden gem of a park. This park has sooooo much but here are some highlights. There is a flat walking, riding or running loop (maybe 1/3-1/4mile); 2 baseball diamonds (not in greatest shape but ok); bathrooms are pretty clean & I counted at least 3;
2 kiddie play areas, tables & bbq's (available for rent) but during the week you can find folks playing cards, dominoes or mahjong, there is a basketball court, tennis court and well maintained grass.
Lots of folks & families out walking their dogs or getting some exercise in. There is also a swimming pool but not sure of hours or offerings.
There are at least 3 entrances to the park. 2 are in the surrounding neighborhood and one main by the pool.
If you do come to enjoy the park remember to pick up after yourself, your dog & your group. Keep it clean for...
Read moreI really enjoy going to this park. It has been upgraded and looks beautiful. There is shade and sun throughout the play area. My dislike about this park is the following. They Circle the Park area and act like they're busy but they're staring at the children playing. Sometimes talking to themselves or laughing. It always gives me an eerie feeling and I don't feel comfortable at times. All parents keep a lookout. I have called the San Leandro Police Department to advise them of the situation. Both times they arrived late and the person has already left. I would advise to call ASAP if any other parent has the...

First, the parking lot is quite large, and there is also lots of street parking nearby. The park has itself many different sections. On one side is the pool, there is also a playground, exercise machines, some type of amphitheater, playing field, pickle ball and tennis courts. Scattered in between you will find many picnic tables and water fountains. A concrete path traverses the park where body weight exercise areas can be found every 100 meters or so. My dog likes to climb some of the trees whose trunks bend at a low angle. It was quite crowded and all the courts were taken but the path was relatively clear and some open sections of grass...
