What more is there to say it's thrasher Park the park is most of the time maintained fairly well with the grounds kept well and picked up a lot of times after the night when you go in the morning there are smashed bottles about and spots where people dump their garbage into the parking lot but it seems that the the people who are in charge of cleaning do a good job because it's generally fairly sanitary, there is a half pipe for the skateboarders there is a baseball field and there's a great big old playground for the kiddos and they've got a few barbecue pits as well great place if you're looking to have a cheap birthday party 😜🎉
The only problem I have ever had at thrasher Park seems to be with some of the city employees who don't like if you park there more than a few times in a row overnight, I had problems with them regarding my vehicle and some damage to it but I am not going to get into those details as I don't want to drag anyone's name...

The playground isn’t completely gated but there is a fence separating the play area from the parking lot and the street. Nearby there are picnic tables each with a bbq. There is a softball field and a skatepark in the back corner (maybe that’s why it’s called thrasher 🤷♀️🛹) Sharing the same parking lot is the San Leandro Historical Railway...
Read moreSkatepark has been closed for a year or so with no signs indicating why. The upside is that it is an old and rough concrete park with nobody present. You can have the place to yourself, but you will need to climb a large fence and deal with the rough paint job and terrible ground, mostly not really worth it. The transition is clunky and probably not worth it unless you are used to bad or old skateparks. There is a bank to curb that is pretty fun though. The rest of the park seems pretty great and this is not a review of the other facilities just...
