Iāve been a customer for years and Iāve always found the owner to have a peculiar character than can be misinterpreted as rude but heās mostly a nice guy so Iāve always just went with it plus because heās got great stuff there, that canāt be denied . But today Iāve had enough of whatever his problem is . I called to make sure he has a bat so I donāt have to drive from Richmond for nothing . I told him thatās why I was calling and he starts getting rude and crying that āI need to hold on and heās got 3 customers in line and heās got to get the keyā . The guy was acting like I just got done telling him to hurry up and check. He tells me to call back in 5 minutes but he āknowsā he has the bat. So instead of getting more attitude on the phone I just drove down there since he said he knows he has it . Turns out he doesnāt have the bat so he wasted my time and gas . Iāll never spend another nickel in that place again and Iām glad I never have to deal with his bipolar...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis store is very cool! Packed with everything you need. We bought mitts and pants for our kids but we will 100% support this store for all of our baseball needs because of what my husband witnessed the first time he went.
When he returned home, he told me that a young boy was in there with his mom, looking for a mitt. He runs into his coach who tries to explain to his mother who he is, but mom didnāt speak English. By the end of his visit, the kid has a pile of gear and the owner tells the him that itās all going to be comped. He tells the kid how brave he is to emigrate to another country. He tells him to just worry about taking care of his mother and to remember him one day.
I was almost in tears hearing the story and asked my husband if he cried in the store. He said just about.
What a kind and generous gesture. He earned fans for life...

I'd heard for years that this place has everything you need for baseball.. and they were right!
We live across the bay and finally made the trip, and boy was it worth it!
My son is entering 14u baseball and needed a new bat, a BBCOR bat.
The have a HUGE selection and very competitive pricing on new gear. My son used his birthday money to buy the bat and cleverly went with the 2024 model instead of the 2025, and was able to walk away only paying half of MSRP! Louisville Atlas drop 3.. what a nice bat. His younger twin siblings found that cool pencil bat on sale as well! So come this spring.. all 3 kids will be good to go!
The store has a very extensive collection and there's even a 2nd story that we barely got to look into!
We will definitely return for all our...
