MY DREAM'S SPA AND MASSAGE — Attraction in San Luis Obispo

My wife and I recently visited this massage parlor for a couples massage session to celebrate her birthday. We opted for the 70-minute session, with me choosing the one with hot stones while my wife preferred not to have them.

Our massage therapists were Vicky and Jennifer (who I believe is also the owner). They were both professionals and knew how to relax our tensed muscles. However, during my wife's massage, Jennifer kept answering phone calls and even attended to a guest in the lobby, which was a bit distracting. On the other hand, my massage therapist (whom I really liked) seemed to be preoccupied and wasn't paying attention to my requests. I wanted her to focus on one area more than the other, but she seemed to have misunderstood or not listened to me, and spent more time massaging other areas instead.

Despite these issues, the massage itself was great, and the place was reasonably priced. I would recommend others to try this place because both therapists know how to do their work well. However, I do hope that the staff will work on minimizing distractions and paying closer attention to their clients requests...

My wife and I do a couples massage ever two weeks. We have tried several massage places in San Luis Obispo County and recently discovered My Dreams Spa and Massage in SLO. We did the combination deep tissue and reflexology 90 minute massage, and both of us felt that this was the best overall massage we have ever received and very reasonably priced. The manager Jennifer called us the day before to confirm and was very cordial when we entered the facility. Lisa worked with me, and Vicky worked with my wife, and both were outstanding. I had worked out prior to my massage, and went in with some tired achy muscles. Lisa knew just the right amount of pressure to apply and did a wonderful job. Vicky also worked well with my wife and communicated to make sure the pressure was correct. We were so relaxed that we almost needed a wheel chair to get to our car. Both of us are seniors and in good shape, so we enjoy massage as a great relaxation mechanism at the end of a week. We will definitely be returning to...

Great massage. You can walk-in or call ahead. They do full body massage and foot reflexology. I go for the full body massage. You get a private room with lots of hooks to hang your things. The atmosphere is relaxing, the space is clean, they play gentle music like Enya, they have art on the walls. But, the best is the quality and personalization of the massage. At many of the walk-in massage places it can be difficult to communicate specifics of exactly what you need from the massage. That is not the case here. I let them know where I want them to focus, and they focus there. They do a really good job spending lots of time on the areas I actually need instead of doing a generic massage.
