We have been eating here for years and usually really enjoy the food. Unfortunately, this last week I was home sick and I was in the mood for some nachos. When I opened the container at home, this was the most disgusting nachos I have ever seen! It was just a pile of chips with meat thrown on it covered in disgusting liquid nacho cheese. We had to remove the meat and throw the rest of it in the composting. So disgusting!!!!
I was looking for nacho made properly, with fresh black beans, corn, tomatoes, olives, onions, sour cream and guacamole, withe the meat layered among the chips and shredded REAL cheese melted on top, to make everything yummy and gooey.

Read moreThis place is simply just awesome. From the moment you walk in, you can tell it’s super clean and well kept. The ladies that served me and my friend today were super nice! I felt right at home here, which says something, because it’s not too often I get that feeling in SLO as someone who is not local to the area.
The food was great. The salsa bar is probably the best I’ve seen at a restaurant, not to mention, also the best tasting. They also keep their salsa bar and entire restaurant super clean too, which are big factors for me when deciding to dine at a restaurant.
So glad I found this place, can’t wait to come back and try more menu items...

How is the only airport restaurant closed at 9am? Anyway...THE nicest staff at Taco Roco where we had the Macha plate and Huevos Rancheros. I said I couldn't have the Macha because of bell peppers (allergic) and the hostess went out of her way to check the sauce...and change it when she found the rancheros red sauce had bell peppers.
