I ordered a custom cake for my sister's birthday. The cake was gorgeous! Our expectations in the artistry department were met, even exceeded. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed when it came to flavor. The cake was very dense and tasted blah. It didn't even taste vanilla; just bland. The buttercream tasted good, but there was way too much of it. The raspberry filling was delicious, the best part of the cake flavor-wise, but there was too little of it to balance the sweetness of the buttercream.

Overall, I'd say if you want a lovely cake for any event, this bakery will probably meet your needs very well. If great flavor is your priority, you might want to try their cupcakes first, before you decide. I love cupcakes. When in big cities on business I Google for cupcake shops and wander around in search of delicious surprises. After I had my 1st cupcake from SeaBreeze I felt like SLO had won the lottery. These cupcakes aren’t just tasty, they are buy a dozen and take them to work tasty. I literally buy cupcakes and give them away to watch people take their first bite. 🤣🤣 My favorites are red velvet, brown butter sugar, chocolate chip cookie dough, & cookies and cream. Seabreeze created our cake and cupcake desserts for our wedding. They were hands down the tastiest cupcakes we sampled of the four places we considered. Their buttercream is what set them apart for me. I could taste the different flavors of each, which at other places the buttercream tasted the same to me on all the different flavor cupcakes.
