Absolutely this worst experience I've had delivering to a Staples store. I was able to make my delivery to this store one day ahead of schedule and my manager even called and cleared and got the ok from them as long as I showed up no later than 630pm. Got here at 5 20pm and called the store like I always do to let them know I was here. So I go through the phone and let them know I was here with their delivery and the guy on the phone just let out a big sigh and hung up the phone on me. Me thinking it was just a store employee, I go inside to talk to the manager of the store to let them know I was here and what just happened. Manager sees me and asked if I was the driver and then proceeds to tell me they couldn't take me because they only had 2 people there. I told him I understand but what I didn't was how I was treated on the phone and hung up on. He then tells me he is the one who answered the phone but tries to lie and say he didn't hang up on me. After I said how rude it was and I'm just the driver trying to make a delivery that the store agreed upon and tries to lie and say he wasn't the one who hung up the phone but sometimes he will answer the phone and the other employees will hang up the phone, which makes no sense. So I told him once again I didn't appreciate how I was talked to and treated and to have a nice day. I've never in my life had a store manager do this to me or any other driver on our fleet. This is unacceptable and he should not be a manager if that's how he is gonna treat customers let alone their delivery drivers. Read moreI used to like the store - a long time ago. Now I would like to give it a rating of zero stars or even a negative number of stars if I could. Here is my experience with trying to buy a printer yesterday. I ordered it on line for a one hour delivery at the store and paid on line for the printer. When I came to the store to pick it up I was told that it is not in stock and that they sent me a notice to the effect. I never received such a notice. I was promised and assured that the printer will be delivered to my home the following day. That never happened either. When I called the store I was told (after a long wait) that the order was cancelled. When I tried to find out why, the person I talked to hung up on me. So I called back to talk to the manager. After another very long wait the store manager informed me that I was supposed to pay for it again at the cashier, because somehow it was to be a new order. Am I supposed to read peoples' mind? No one told me that it was a "new" order and that I need to pay the cashier again. BTW, I never received a notice that my order was cancelled - just a wasted day without a printer that I urgently need. Another small issue on the subject: Staples advertises that they will match any price by another outfit. I brought a confirmation from Costco that I can get it for a lower price. But I was told that Costco is the one and only place whose price they don't match. Perhaps so, but why does their advertisement about matching prices not mention it?

Read moreThis is the only store where you can get a TSA Pre Check done in the county. The next nearest location is in Bakersfield. I made an appointment online, printed the confirmation form and brought the documents requested. I arrived 10 minutes early and was asked to have a seat, someone would be able to assist me in a few minutes. The man then asked me what documents I had brought and I responded with my drivers license and BC as noted on the form. He then tells me they cannot assist me, as their scanner is broken. I asked why they didn’t call me to cancel this appointment and he had no answer other than to tell me I should have called before I left home to verify it could be completed. I explained to him that I had driven 35 minutes from Paso Robles for an APPOINTMENT (I was not a walk in), but he was not concerned about my inconvenience nor offered any apology.
