This is a darling park. It's just the right size to tire out little tots on the playground and trail or take your leashed dog for a daily stroll. There are doggie disposal bags and trash cans provided at both ends of the pathway. I threw sticks in the lake for my pup Dixie to fetch near the boat launch docks. For those of you just moving to the area, I highly recommend coming here and follow down to the arboretum to read all about our local trees and vegetation. There are placards to explain right with the living example!

I go to this Park almost every other day to take my regular evening strolls. I plug in my headphones, crank the volume, and sit and enjoy the sunsets. I enjoy taking pictures of this place, all over. It's where I go to find Zen and think about everything. ~ This is a very therapeutic location. And perfect for kids to play with the swings and payground. Also great for big family gathering with a covered picnic area. If i could give more that 5 starts I'd give it 1000 more. 110% amazing.

I was only there to visit the pickleball courts, that were newly redone within the last couple of years. There are three total courts. There are no dividers between the courts. The court surface is not perfect but overall okay. The nets are moveable, and are removed in October because of inclement weather. There's a nice group of local players that play in the mornings. The courts are located right on the lake behind the stadium.

Great park with a great view. There a place to play, tennis and basketball courts, play structures, and the Bonner County museum is in the park proper. Saving the best for last, the big winner, is the restored train car! The kids can climb and play on the outside of the car, it has lots of things for hands of all sizes to grasp and play with for hours of fun. The arboretum is also amazing and should be viewed with a short stroll along the lake in the treed in native species restored habitat. What a great place to bring the kids to learn, explore, and imagine. Our...
