I had talked with Todd several times before our hunt and at the meeting point on the day of our hunt. I explained to Todd that our group wanted to keep the hogs that we shot and his reply was "be careful for what you wish for. We had a group that wanted the hogs and after 30 they were done" other conversations including the night of the hunt were we will be in groups of 20-30 hogs and even as much as 60 hogs. That was great news to hear. Unfortunately Todd over promised and under delivered. The biggest and only group of hogs we were able to get shots of was around 10-15 hogs. We did see two bores together by themselves and shot one 250lbs. We were told that they were not worth eating. Out of the group we shot two. We did see two other groups 10-20 hogs but were not able to get on them. We spent the majority of our night running around in side by sides checking fields and some multiple times. Was a fun trip our group just wished Todd would have been more realistic with what we could expect. I understand this is hunting and you don't always see animals or ones that you can get and opportunity at. But when you tell your clients that they will be seeing and getting the opportunity to shoot at a lot of hogs you should be able to deliver. I was not impressed with the hog hunting. Equipment was in good condition but some of the scoped were not tight, battery issues and the camera on top of the side by sides were loose and not worth using unless you were stopped. I would not recommend this outfit. I have attached a photo of the three hogs we shot out of a group of 8.

Like many other reviewers have said, safety procedures and equipment were top notch. As some reviewers have said, we spent a lot of time driving from place to place without much success. These pigs get hunted multiple nights a week and have become especially wary. Our guide worked hard to get us on the pigs, which is one reason we moved around so much, but our hunt would've been more successful had we spent more time stalking into position instead of seeing how close we could drive up without spooking the pigs. Our party of four ranged in hunting experience from nearly 50 years to zero years, and only two of us knew each other, so I get that there's a greater liability risk by having 4 hunters with loaded guns sneaking through unfamiliar territory in the dark. That being said, the group took down a nice boar and had a good time, but there were some avoidable mistakes that cost us more opportunities.

Definitely recommend going out hunting with Pork Police! I wound up going two nights in a row and they got us into multiple shooting opportunities both nights. The guides are informative and helpful. They provide nice equipment with explanation on how to use everything and the coarse of action of dos and don'ts. They monitor the less experienced well, keeping themselves and others safe while getting you in on pigs in an organized fashion. Will go with them again whenever in close proximity while traveling in Texas.

After Pork Police took us out on an unforgettable night with my husband and two boys (ages 6&11) I am compelled to share our fantastic experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff's expertise and welcoming demeanor set the tone for an adventure my boys will never forget. The guides were exceptionally knowledgeable, ensuring our safety while expertly leading us around to different known hog locations. Their patience and encouragement were especially appreciated by my boys, who were new to hunting. They had a wonderful young lady assigned specifically to help my six year old to ensure everyone's safety for the night. The company's respect for the environment and the sport was evident, making this a truly educational and exciting outing for our sons. Despite some bad luck and a cold night, we were kept very warm in the cab and we trekked through the different properties. We didn't get to shoot any hogs - they just weren't out - but this is why it's called hunting, not shooting. ;) I was blown away by the technology used for hunting these nuisances and the passion and commitment the Pork Police have to protecting the property and livestock of those who contract with them. We returned home with great memories and my boys have a newfound appreciation for hunting, all thanks to the outstanding experience provided by Pork Police. We can’t wait to come back...

Extremely safety oriented, had a great time!

Todd, Sean and Avery were fantastic! They had everything we needed for a fun, safe and successful night

I did ton of research prior to booking with Pork Police. This is my Dad and I annual trip, we fly down from the Midwest to hog hunt and Pork Police checked all of our boxes.

  1. Very safety conscious
  2. Not breading pigs but actually eradicating an evasive species not adding to problem./ Not a game ranch
  3. No "per pig" fee
  4. Actual hunting
  5. All at a great price

It's tough going hunting/ shooting with people that you've never gone out with before in day time and exponentially harder at night just because you don't know the other shooters experience level and safety / situational awareness. The way they do it with one guiding to the pigs and the other acting as range safety trailing behind was very smart.

Their equipment was great. It's clean, well maintained and what we didn't have they did.

They're knowledge of the terrain, use of game cams and roof mounted thermal optics gave us the maximum opportunities to get on the pigs.

Dad and I will be back next year and will hopefully be bringing more...
