We brought in a paint can previously mixed for us by ace that we had started painting with. The gentleman mixed up 3 more gallons and we were off to finish psinting in addition to 3 we previously had mixed and painted with. After painting and it drying, we then realized it was not the same color as the previous paint and was drastically different. After looking, we realized he did not use the same base tint as the can we brought in. So instead of the 6 gallons we would have needed, we now needed 3 MORE unneccesaty cans to go over the initial lighter color. Somehow, this was our responsibility to pay for. Had we gotten the correct paint we asked for we would of only had to buy 6 gallons, but because of your employees mistake, we were responsible for paying for 9 gallons. I am pregnant and could definitely use that money for something else. Money we should not have had to spend. Absolutely ridiculous to make your customer pay for your employees mistakes. I spent two days and countless hours at Home Depot and Lowe’s trying to find plumbing and electrical fittings I knew nothing about. I finally ended up here and within a matter of about 6 minutes Joel had my cart full with every single thing that I needed. Like others have stated, no less than 4 people asked me how they could help me. Its one of the better customer service experiences I’ve ever had. Worst experience at an Ace I’ve ever had. Went in with a sample from a different ace and asked for a gallon of the same thing. The kid made a pint size and put in a gallon in the computer so paint went everywhere. I should’ve stopped then but allowed them to correct it and they continued to make everything wrong. Another gallon color in a sample can, misprinted the gallon and everything in between. I got home to paint and my husband said the paint looked different. I let it dry and he was right. I asked for the same exact thing I had a sample of and they couldn’t even do that right either super frustrating and time consuming and will never go to this...
