Waterfall - Marion Sansom Park — Attraction in Fort Worth

The hiking in the vicinity of the waterfall and park offers a lot of elevation change. The perimeter hike on the outer trails is over 6 miles. The vegetation is varied and makes for a pretty and scenic hike for being in the city. The park has trails that are moderate to easy regarding skill level. The trail on the bluff ovevrlooking the West fork of the Trinity River is about 30 feet high and provides a nice view. I would consider the hiking to be quite nice, given that it is located within the metropolitan area...

The areas of this park that are just off Robert's Cut Off are great areas for picnics, family outings, watching the sunset all kinds of activities. All the areas below the pavilions have trails running through but they are not simple maintained trails. They are much more like game trails or water runoff gullies....

The trail to get here isn’t anywhere near as challenging as I hoped but still the waterfall was pretty. (10/28/22) Came back here and did a different trail which was much better! A lot more found, I found an additional set of little waterfalls and jumped onto a bunch of boulder to get some good photos. Loved...
