The positive: nice place with great options. The Negative: First off, don't hurt the manager's (Aaron) feelings. He obviously bit off more than he can chew. His employees are partial educated on the products. I purchased a Festool Track saw, pricey, but wait, i have to add the vacuum, but wait, the track might be separate too?? LOL, the employees dont know and 30 minutes lapses. After spending $1600 on this tool, and the next day so excited, oh wait, something is missing, the clamp that connects the track to the project for stability, an extra $47. I'm not mad about the price, I'm mad about the fact their staff aren't educated enough to upsale me. I now have to make the trip down there when all they had to do is listen to the customer... I don't know this till the next day..
Frustrated, I call the place, the person who helped me I find out isnt even the Festool rep they said they were (Parker), but now, once i have the manager on the phone, he does the best thing a manager can do to help his status, blame the customer for not knowing what came in what packages. Thank you Aaron, thank you Austin Hardood, I'll make sure I come in more...
Read moreI bought 2 set of slow closing sliding and I asked from the cashier if I can return if it doesn’t fit and he said yes as long you as you have the invoice. Turns out it doesn’t fit , so I drove over to return it , after 10 days , the cashier checked out the item and said “ we can’t accept return cause one set has been used.” I goes , “ I installed both of them to see if they fit “ and he goes “ then we can not accept both. I asked for his manager but I wish I didn’t , he was so snobby and before I say anything , he said “ we don’t accept return if you used it even once “.!!! I said , this is not a pair of shoes than I can try it on in front of you , I need to install it to see how it works but he walked away and ignored me . I asked the cashier just put down on the invoice that “ we don’t accept return and stamp it “ he did that but he said “ we don’t have stamp”. I don’t know where there are many credible store that can’t name them why people buy items from this small place with disrespectful employee. Close this business if you are not able to offer very primary customer...
Read moreIf I lived closer I'd be here once a week. In my opinion it's the best lumber store in the entire OC/LA area, and I've been to most all of the good ones. The assortment of hardwoods and plywoods here is unmatched by almost all other retailers. Not only that, I can come here and get my Blum drawer slides and concealed hinges when I'm doing cabinet builds. What's better is their prices are typically cheaper than online retailers. Edge-banding and veneers; I've never seen such an assortment in SoCal! And I always buy my Formica laminates here as well. It's cheaper than just about anywhere else and they usually get it in faster than any other source I can find. Plus, I think they typically stock the basic colors and sizes (ie: white, black and gray). Sorry, still talking about laminates. I could go on, but I don't have all day to sit here and talk about all the tools and other hardware items that they have in stock on the shelves! Love...
