Club 616 — Restaurant in Santa Ana

We chose to hang out at this place for the first time, we asked the bartender where to order (does he bring menus or do we have to order from the bar) and her answer was: "You don't know how a bar works? First time at a bar?" Disparagingly but we chose to ignore it, it is necessary to believe that it is a misunderstanding... We continued the evening and the attitude of the bartenders was very strange, they seem to suffer from serving us. We didn't make a big deal because we are positive and flowing people but! They take the credit card as a security measure (according to what they said) and when we asked for a bill they brought the receipt, we paid in full including tip in cash, and when we got home we discovered that they owe the full amount on credit as well! Without saying a word of course! As I said, we usually don't make a big deal and we went to talk to them, in the conversation with them they said they thought the cash we left was the tip and we explained in response that we had no idea they owed the credit. They refused to return the money on the grounds that only the owner of the place can decide and to this day no one has contacted us, very disappointed with the conditions and with the emotions they make us feel. Came here to hang out with my girlfriend and show her the new cocktail bar.

She had never been there. I had as I live and work locally. We waited 35 minutes while sitting in front of the bartender as he was making drinks. Didn’t offer us kept taking everyone else’s order as they approached the bar and totally disregarded us. It was very embarrassing.

Anyhow , I ordered a lemon drop , $14 cocktail 🍸 only get served in a baby glass. When I had gone there before the bartender was nice and was courteous, it was busy but acknowledged us. Also, the lemon drop then was in a standard glass that any restaurant would have them in.

I had like a baby lemon drop - mind you the entire time I was watching him make drinks , he was making lemon drops and in normal cups. Anyhow , will not be visiting this place anytime soon. My husband and I liked going for the fish tacos and was a cute place to enjoy cute cocktails that is walking distance from our new condo.
