The rose's are really nice. They are light and fruit forward. They are not too dry and not too sweet. The wines are on the pricier side for sure, which is why I am canceling my membership. What was also really off-putting was the way the owner acted to other customers that weren't her personal friends. So if you don't know the owner and she has an event that night, stay clear, otherwise you'll be told to leave so the rest of her buddies can enjoy. Hate to see this type of attitude (every customer is valuable whether they are your friend or not). I enjoy the wine, and the ambience, I just can't stand people who are two faced or say to be one thing, but their actions say otherwise.

There are many tasting patios in Funk Zone, but this one had both good wines and live music on a recent Sunday afternoon, under the shade of umbrellas and old trees. There are plenty of tables but we were lucky enough to snag two comfy chairs near the jazzy music. Our second choice would have been the long couch about halfway back on the left. The red wines (we only care about reds) were Grenache and Syrah-based, sourced from the San Luis Obispo area. We thoroughly enjoyed our tasting and the great service. They also offer charcuterie to accompany.

Looking to support local businesses in our trip to California, my husband and I stumbled upon this woman-owned lil' tasting room. Very cute, attentive service, delicious wine. A bit pricey, but that is understandable for the city.

I recently visited your establishment for the first time and wanted to share my experience. While I thoroughly enjoyed the wine and the excellent music—especially while sitting outside in the back—unfortunately, the service left me feeling quite disappointed.

When I first arrived, I asked the head waiter for a glass of wine. She responded by saying she was busy and that I needed to order inside. I complied, though I noticed that things didn’t seem particularly busy at the time. Later, when the place had fewer guests, I again asked the same server for a drink, but was told once more to order inside. What confused and upset me was that shortly after, I saw her approaching a couple who had just arrived and taking their order directly.

This inconsistency felt unfair and made me feel unwelcome. I truly appreciate good service, and while the atmosphere and drinks were great, this interaction unfortunately overshadowed the rest of my experience.

I hope this feedback is taken constructively, as I believe your venue has great potential and I’d love to return—hopefully to a more welcoming experience next time.
