California’s Oldest Amusement Park Is Pure Americana With Vintage Rides And Free Summer Movie Nights

Good cheap bowling on weekdays with parking. I’ve been in the area for years, but haven’t been to these lanes before. I didn’t have to wait for a lane and at $4/game it was a good deal. The bar and snack bar both looked promising and the prices fairly reasonable. I didn’t realize they had their own lot across Front St until after I’d already paid for street parking. Next time I’ll know better.

I’ve been going to Boardwalk Bowl for years and normally have a fantastic experience, but I had such an awful experience that I don't think I can return. We had joined a group and paid for two games of bowling. In the middle of the first game we were told to return to the front desk. Upon our arrival Collin (the employee we paid for initially) told us that he accidentally charged the wrong amount, and that we needed to pay more to continue the game. Collin was upfront with his mistake and was being hospitable. We let Collin know that we would just like to finish the first game. He had already charged us 50 dollars and we weren't half way through.

Now this is why I’m writing this review. I've worked in customer service jobs for years and know how demanding it can be. The other employee behind the counter, Isaiah, was incredibly hostile and aggressive. He wasn’t even aware of the miscommunication before he was aggressively telling us that we were wrong, all while staring us down for no reason. He was confrontational and aggressive and made everyone feel very uncomfortable. Hopefully management can correct Isaiah’s behavior since it was hostile and...

The best karaoke bar in santa cruz county. Period. 5 to 6 nights a week karaoke starts at 9pm, and sometimes earlier during the summer. Short waits usually during week nights, but plenty of tourists and locals on the weekends. No stupid DJ songs between singers. It's rapid fire next next next so pay attention when your name is called. There are 3 rules you must follow when you sing here: Don't drop or swing the mic. Stay off the furniture. Respect Jim, the KJ, the staff and patrons. This is the most secure bar in town. I mean it. They have a top notch security staff, so don't cause trouble. Other than that, the drinks aren't terribly expensive for a tourist attraction. Specials and pitchers are your best bet on a budget. But please, remember to tip the karaoke host. He finds your songs, busses every table AND the lanes most nights AND barbacks and always remembers your name. He's the hardest working KJ in the world and the least you could do is put a few $$ in the jar. Or at the very least, don't pick THAT Journey or Queen song. You...

This review is not for the bowling alley as much as the surrounding patrons and lewd bar dwellers and lurch around like cackling sea hags at the bowling alley in santa cruz..please ladies that patron the santa cruz boardwalk and stalk the men their in and including the BOWLING ALLEY..women like myself and my children on a trip to Santa Cruz are INFURIATED by your disgusting parading, bending down, soliciting, etc of our men folk!! My husband and teenage child were solicited at the bowling alley by scantily clad very young ladies that appeared to be at the very least between the age of 12 and 16!!! Due to the recent news in the santa cruz area that has been plaguing young ladies illegally, we will not be returning to santa cruz until this horrible display is irradicated. Santa Cruz should be for families, CHILDREN, and for people that want to be a kid for a day..it is a VACATION SPOT!! My family went bowling, and we had to leave from the bowling alley and the incident almost destroyed our...
