Today was my first time going to Santa Cruz Boardwalk! It was just like I had pictured it to be. I like the scenic views all around and the best part its the best of both worlds. An amusement park and the beach! It wasn't to crowded and the li es for everything was fairly short. All the foods looked great but the few things we tried fell short of delicious. The orange chicken rice bowl from one stand was not that great but edible and same thing goes for the spiral spud it lacked taste and you had to add your toppings that is left out beside the trash can where everyone else touches the seasons. Anyway the iconic Santa Cruz tees and hoodies was the next stop where we bought a couple of tees. Then we ended our day with taking a few sunset pictures. The parking lot across the street from the amusement park cost $25 all day. Overall it was a pretty enjoyable day out...

The facilities, however, are being refurbished. So, the rooms that arenβt in use are a little worn. The decor and the colors are old. Brown and orange carpets and some kind of an off green colored walls itβs just very passive. The new colors are light, gray blue and green. There is only so much that can be done to make the brown and orange look clean. So the stars here are for the staff who bring the overall rating to a three from otherwise one or...
