Good selection of fruits, vegetables, juices. However 95% of what I bought was canned juice, fresh vegetables, canned vegetables a package of bean thread noodles and a couple of frozen vegetarian items. I also bought a few dried seasonings for my vegetables. I have been in three times but won't be coming back because they will not honor or take food stamps at all.
All I have ever gotten from the female proprietor when I ask about taking food stamps is she says; 'next week, next week, waving her hand at me dismissively like she could care less. Well she lied to me three times.
Three strikes and your out. I gave a 4 out of 5 for the quality of the merchandise. I give the female proprietor a 1 out of 5. Very rude, and Ageist .If you are older on food stamps, and and battling a serious illness do understand you are likely to get treated this way by her.
Honestly it is not worth the hassle. There are other stores which carry some Asian foods in Santa Fe. There are a couple in Asian food stores in Albuquerque. I hope she sees this and understands it is a loss of business. Her attitude will hurt the stores bottom line. She should wise up. " The Customer is always right."
I worked in retail for at least 15 years of my working life .(13 years to be exact )of a little over 50 years, most all of it either as a freelance surface designer; paper, fabric, glass and metal, an Illustrator. Or a bench jeweler As a Craftsman, and usually worked 10 to 12 hrs. A day six days a week. She doesn't know who she is dealing with ; not some little old lady, Who knows nothing and has...

The clerk remembered us and the receipt and when we came in the next weekend, she said "Ah! I've been waiting for you! Look, I made an accident the last time you were in and I want to correct it now." And she did, by subtracting the value of the extra items from the current purchase.
That blew me away.
This is already an excellent little Asian grocer featuring ridiculously delicious fish-shaped ice-cream, but now it is an excellent Asian grocer that is also run by perfectly respectable folks.
It's the kind of customer service Norman Rockwell would...
Read moreI am soooo happy that there is an Asian market in Santa Fe! I usually have to go to Talin market for Asian foods, but it's great to be able to get more of what I need closer to home.
They don't have as wide a selection as Talin, but that doesn't take away from the store's benefit. It's clean, the staff is very friendly, and everything is easy to find. You may still have to go further for more specific items (I go for a flavor of tea that this store doesn't carry) but otherwise it's so convenient and I hope they get lots of business and stay in Santa Fe for...
