Mucho Gourmet Sandwich Shoppe (We start taking phone orders at 9:00am!) — Restaurant in Santa Fe

I had a very disappointing experience at Mucho’s Sandwiches during my visit. I came in to meet clients who had already ordered, and my partner and I planned to order after our meeting. However, the owner Shannon approached our table in a very rude manner, raising her voice and demanding that we either order something or leave if the restaurant got busy. Her tone was shocking and rude, I even flinched when she approached us. When I tried to place an order, she questioned why my partner wasn’t going to order a sandwich as well and went as far as asking if we were going to share mine. I explained she was getting a drink. Shannon’s demeanor was extremely unprofessional and confrontational. It is unfortunate because the atmosphere changed and completely ruined the experience. Politeness and tone goes a long way in the service industry. I do apologize for not ordering before hand but the owner could have delivered that message in a professional manner. I felt so sad because I was excited to try their food and it was my first time in the restaurant. If Shannon is indeed the owner, I hope she realizes the importance of customer service. As a local we always supported Muchos. Went countless times. First time we found a hair in our turkey plus sandwich. They remade it. We thought we would give it another chance and go back to the place. We ordered a tuna sandwich and on top of the bread had plastic and smeared avocado with blue stuff on top. We showed the manager, (who was a lady) . She picked up the plastic (didn’t use gloves) with her bare fingers. Then she said it was fine that it was just plastic and not to worry. We wanted another one remade and asked her to remake one and she said the sandwich was fine and didn’t offer to make another one. It was as easy as swapping out the bread but she couldn’t even do that. After she had touched it with no gloves we decided to throw it. Then she offered to make another one. Mucho's has the best sandwiches in town, hands down! I recently stopped in for lunch and was blown away by the quality of the food.

The sandwiches are made with fresh, high-quality ingredients that are full of flavor. I ordered the turkey avocado sandwich and it was absolutely delicious. The bread was fresh and toasted perfectly, the turkey was tender and juicy, and the avocado was ripe and flavorful.

In addition to the amazing sandwiches, the service at Mucho's is also fantastic. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and goes above and beyond to make sure that you have a great experience.
