I've never been inside this place, but it looks like it has the potential to be uniquely wonderful. It's built directly off Hwy. 6 in Santa Fe, which aesthetically makes zero sense. However, that's also why it's so great. UPDATE:someone has bought this property and from the looks of it, the new owners are changing everything. Read moreI vaguely knew one of the daughters that belonged to the family that resided here once upon a time. They owned Franco’s restaurant in League City/Webster area. The daughter I knew of married one of my ex-husband’s operations employees from a local refinery. Very friendly, hospitable and well known family. People raved about the Franco’s restaurant. It’s a beautiful home but the current owners are either nuts or simply have zero care in the world about appearances... it’s a shame they’ve let the place turn into the dilapidated dump that it’s becoming. It’s such a unique property that people are very interested, but the owners have put up so many no-trespassing signs, silly bars and gates that it makes it terribly ugly and gives the appearance that whoever resides there is a paranoid hermit.
