Village Pizza & Seafood( Santa Fe) — Restaurant in Santa Fe

I had the most disturbing experience this evening. I placed my order of a 10 piece shrimp dinner, spaghetti with meat sauce and the Lasagna. My food arrives I am beginning to start eating and I get a knock at my door. A women that was there at Village while my food was being prepared saw the manager take a pizza knife remove some cheese out of one of the metal containers and put it on the other one, then took her hands with no gloves and remove the rest of the cheese off the knife as she did this the cheese fell on the dirty counter, she the manager just picked it up with her bare hands and placed it into the container. The customer who watched all of this said something to the manager about the situation and the food should be precooked, the manager ignored her so she said something to the driver, the driver ignored her and brought me my food. The customer then followed the driver to my house to let me know what had happened and to not eat the food. When I call up there the magner just apologizes and says we can remake your food and bring it to you. I laughed at her on the phone, and said are you kidding me. I went up there returned my food and had someone else make it while I watched, and made sure they had gloves on. I truly believe they do not wear gloves while preparing food because the cook that I ask to make mine had none on when I got there and was having a hard time putting them on. So everyone who orders to from this place beware. I will never order from this...

Well, my first incident is at the second half of my story

But this first piece of my story is when the lady messed my food up but adding onions and mushroom and a sandwich that was not supposed to be there and instead of remaking it the not a cashier the manager she told me I needed to go through Uber and make them refund me so then she can make me a new sandwich so she doesn’t lose the $.20 that it cost her to make this sandwich and I told her every piece of my mind exactly about that Which is also the lady that I found a staple of food who insisted that it was not her staple ha ha ha ! When Mr. Jimmy was around, was he would fix it there’s a reason why this place Has went down For my second part I found a staple in my sub, call till there was nothing to be done to till manager came in which was fine, told the manager I found a stable in my food brought it in with me and she picked the staple up and said this isn’t my staple. We decided to try this place on Saturday afternoon for lunch went to order the sandwiches three shrimp po boys with large shrimp. The person behind the counter could not understand anything we were trying to tell them we had to repeat the order three times. They did not know how to do a credit card had to call someone else for help. On the photo you will see there are one large sandwich and two smalls. The bread was very fresh. There was lettuce and tomato and tartar sauce on the inside tomato was not fresh very limp and thinly sliced. The shrimp were a good size did not taste any type of seasoning, but they were fair for the price. I won’t be going back for shrimp for boys. It was just too difficult to order the food.
